ESSENTIAL MOM MOVEMENT SERIES: Exercise 4️⃣ . 🦅 Hanging is an awesome way to free up congested shoulders, use body weight to give new information to the nervous system about the body’s position in space. . Think about feedback from the hang that the body must deal with and respond to. Here I am only thinking about moving through as many positions as possible wherever I feel congestion. . Variability within the hang is a great way for me to stimulate my overstretched abdominal wall and load my core safely! . If you have a diastasis, watch for consistent doming which indicates you have exceeded the pressure tolerance of your tissues. Back off the hang and place your feet on a box until your integration improves. Keep trying different hand positions and don’t give up! ❤️ .
