Kingdom before I start to flood your timelines with Sneaker News... I gotta say another massive shoutout and thank you to all the people @footlockereu #TeamWeek for welcoming the King with open arms I have to admit I was really blown away and humbled by the love by all the guys there I’m really, really touched #ThankYou. This short but very informative trip really put this in perspective that there is so much that goes on behind the scenes and so many people that make it possible for us the consumer to buy a trainer from our local @footlocker store... So sometimes we gotta go easy on the stores when things are sold out or not I stock etc... Also another thing I learnt and reaffirmed is that true success is #teamwork in this business you gotta really look after and motivate your team... The presentation I went too last week was really inspiring the way @footlockereu look after their staff and reward their staff for the good work, I think these are the things the community don’t see... And my advice to every employer in any sector of business (including myself) team work makes the dream work for real, look after your peoples because they are your foundation for any successful business. Special thank you again to @forcefieldfresh for taking me over we are about to create some magic... Just wait on it!! 🙏🏿 #Footlockereu #Footlocker #forcefieldfresh #footwearjobs #👑 #KingOfTrainers (at Foot Locker)

FUTURISTIC FOOTWEAR FOR THE ‘SPACE-AGE’ SHOWCASES AN INNOVATIVE OUTSOLE
Hey Friends! Today I was looking at my shoes, which are not been used since a long. How about you? Like Air Jordans… but for places without a atmosphere. Designer Denis Agarkov’s thought technique behind the ICARUS-4 Space Sneaker is simple. If we’re going to get human beings into space, shouldn’t we additionally have an extraplanetary sense of design to match? The ICARUS-4 are conceptual shoes for zero-gravity lifestyles. Designed for astronauts to provide most flexibility for the duration of repairs and maintenance. But cool-searching enough to be a universal fashion statement, the ICARUS-4 comes with a unique aesthetic that’s same parts desirable for a spacewalk and a ramp-walk. You’re searching at a shoe that sports activities an Ortho-Fabric body (the type discovered on EMU suits) and a steel clasp to steady the footwear, with luminescent markers to allow you to put on the shoe in low-mild conditions. The most interesting detail, however, is the shoe’s two-element sole layout. The frontal 1/2 of the shoe sports a foam outsole, even as the heel uses a rubber-ball outsole, each designed to help take in shock while walking, running, jumping, and landing. Underneath the outsoles also lie powerful induction magnets that help the astronaut magnetically adhere to the hull of a ship at the same time as walking/working. Switch them on to paste to metal hulls, and transfer them off even as appearing backflips at the moon. Or in a sport of cosmic basketball. Whichever situation seems extra appropriate. Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Puma are the brands. When you think about the stylist footwear. But This footwear is really futuristic.

GOOD MORNING KINGDOM!! Hello Guys welcome back to another blog post in partnership with @footlockereu and @footwearjobs Thank you again to all of you who have been reading the posts and all of you who have applied for roles at Footlocker EU. Sorry for the last couple of weeks I haven’t had a new post update but now I am back with a bang with an exclusive interview with a senior staff member of the Footlocker EU team. Let me introduce you #SarahWhite she has been working for FL for a number of years and has taken time out to give you guys some insight and advice about working at Footlooker EU… 1. Who are you and how did you end up working for FL? Sarah White District Manager, I started working for Footlocker as a part time cashier 16 years ago. I was looking for a weekend job whilst at college, At the time I wasn’t looking for anything more than that. 2. Where did you start and how quickly it took for you to move up the ladder? Started as PT cashier in Meadowhall Sheffield. Then progressed to ASM in the Meadowhall store within 18 months, After 18 months I was promoted to the SM of Hull (period of 10 month) and then to Derby (period 1 year) Before moving to London from the north of England to manage the Lakeside branch (3 years). After Lakeside I managed Westfield Stratford during the Olympics which then led to DMIT- where I trained up to before a District Manager. Lastly to DM (been in this position for 5 years). I made one lateral movement in my career- this was as important as the promotions, It built my capability as a manger and I developed in each role further. 3. What are the benefits of working hard and moving through the ranks, also what are the pitfalls?...
