An interesting idea that they are tempting fate by repeating their patterns, seems like maybe someone is going to have to do something very off script to change things potentially.

I am also very curious what Marlene has to do with all of this, why does she have Knowledge in the terrier-verse that she shouldn't have... (although i did laugh at her being like Aerith likes Cloud :D and Zack is like ah i see... lmao he's probably like when did they meet ???)

I totally forgot about the impending coma situation for cloud, it would be interesting if he temporarily wakes up in terrier-verse in that situation, or perhaps he will see many of the universes during that time. I wonder if it will be like a dream or if he would be more actively "awake".

I'm not much of a zack person (i never played crisis core and can't say i formed much of an interest in him based on his presence in rebirth, sorry zack) but it would be quite funny for the three of them to be together for a bit. I guess it also depends on... which version of them wakes up there lmao terrier-verse Aerith hasn't met Cloud and beagle-verse cloud is quite different from the Cloud Zack knows so could be quite confusing for everyone. And assuming Zack is still there at all

The different universes are interesting but also have the capability to add so much confusion (i mean, i'm already somewhat confused lbr haha) that I really need to see how they bring it all together. Only 3 more years until we find out 🙃

Asggsjddoq tbf my dislike for them is mainly because of their minigames 😂. Honestly, I found it cute the first two times, but it got super frustrating and tiresome real fast. Cloud turning into a moogle and saying "Kupo" was definitely cute tho and felt worth it (but I'm definitely not going through all of that again lmao)

Marlene got her knowledge when she hugged Aerith in Remake (from the White Materia, I'm guessing). And lol yeah, this little 4 year old confirming to Zack that Aerith has feelings for Cloud was not on my Rebirth Bingo list. My guy doesn't even question it after she started describing Sephiroth 😂

And I haven't played CC either. I did watch playthroughs on youtube a while back so I know who the new characters are, but I don't have any kind of attachment for Zack. I like what they've done to him in rebirth tho so it would be interesting to see him have a full conversation with Cloud as he currently is (and maaaaaybeee help him straighten a few facts out along the way?). And I do wonder what kind of Aerith will wake up and the role she'll play moving forward (is she gonna summon Holy across all the multiple realities??).

Only the devs know now and it's gonna be a looong 3-4 years of waiting 😭

I need the Zack Fair fans of the world who do not play Kingdom Hearts to know that Zack Fair does appear in kingdom hearts. He's in the prequel game hanging out on the same world you find Cloud on in KH1 and he has a noticeably younger design (if the timeline is the same as it is in the original games then he's probably about 14) and he's this excitable spunky kid who wants to be a hero and then the game moves on and that's the last time we ever see him. It's been over a decade in the games timeline and 15 years in the real world and no one has ever mentioned that kid but Cloud has the buster sword and refuses to connect with anyone and you the player just have to infer what happened to that plucky little kid. I think it's really important that everyone knows that.

Makes sense why he would go for the kill in order to defend Kaida. He’s just a bit of a violent lad

I was just thinking about this topic about "Evil Jay" and the things he can do when I got this ask hjsvkh

yeaah I agreed if Kaida's life is in danger, the guy goes completely crazy, no doubt (although Kaida is much worse in that regard if Jay's life is in danger but that conversation for another day-)

Now I don't think Jay is an inherently violent person who enjoys doing those things or can do them with a cold, calculating mind, that's not Jay. He's the type of person who makes bad/violent decisions in the heat of the moment, in the middle of a fight where adrenaline and his own impusivity lead him to not really think about morals and stuff. I will always say this, but if you compare him to the rest of the team, he is the most morally questionable, that's why I don't understand when people say he's a pacifist. At least in this AU, one of his biggest problems is that he really does bad things, feels terribly guilty, justifies himself not having to think about it, and then makes those same decisions again the first chance he gets.

It's funny because I've recently seen this discourse recently about whether or not it's realistic for Jay to be a villain or do bad things. But we have already seen him in DR be deliberately negligent with the lives of the people his department relocates. And that EVEN if he didn't see the point in arresting Zane&Bonzle he was still going to do it. Idk there you have a guy with doubts and uncertainty doing bad and negligent things because he doesn't really want to reason about another alternative or why they are wrong. Obviously we won't get an "Evil megalomanic Jay" but a Jay who does those things in the name of obedience because that's how indifferent he has become.

Gosh what happens if Player somehow falls into Smash and the boys, not wanting to lose Player to another portal, jump in after them, and they all land in the middle of match between ganondorf and one of the Links.

They stance up only for Ganon and whichever Link it is to be like “whoa hold on there!”

They all get to explore smash and all of the weird creatures running up and down the halls, and villains who are just casually chatting with the hero’s in some sort of lobby or hotel room, there are other princesses chatting it up with Zelda, there is a copy of Wild who Player can’t tell the difference between and our Wild gets jealous, while Time has war flashbacks seeing his younger self and Wind and his counterpart scowl at each other.

There are gods and angels just milling about like they aren’t powerful, legendary creatures, shirtless fighters drinking smoothies, young children talking about how they beat up full grown men in combat, aliens, and whatever the fuck Mr. Game and Watch is. It’s chaos.

I can't believe the girls are back. I always dreamed of them reuniting because the way they broke up was so unfair to them and out of their hands. None of them wanted it to happen and now look at them get their flowers! Everyone screaming their heads off, singing the lyrics to every song, going wild like it's a festival, not a concert. Celebs of all sorts showing up, music acts from different generations giving their messages of love and gratitude, etc. People of all genders in the audience (what girl group gets so many guys yelling/screaming girl anthem songs like this especially in Korea? You know 2NE1 and BB were the special groups where they had more of a gender balance amongst their base than any other group)??!?!?! The girls belting out everything live and just. HIT AFTER HIT AFTER HIT AFTER HIT. Their discography is amazing.

Most of all, I love seeing them together, having fun. I teared up watching how emotional they were, with Minji crying and Chaerin trying SO hard not to cry. Bommie just....so much happier than we've seen her in a long time and soaking up the love we have for her. Dara having her dreams come true because there's no bigger Blackjack in the world than her. Them jumping around the stage together.

There's never been a girl group like them before, and there's never been a girl group like them since. Irreplaceable and impossible to imitate. No one has the charisma, the charm, the everything.

He was his mentor! Mentors and apprentices have a relationship similar to being a third parent. They're supposed to be very close.

So, mostly yes. Enough that the technical details don't matter. For all intents and purposes, their relationship is father/son except when the social question of being Firekin pops up. Cloudkin cats don't have quite the same kinship to the other descendants of that group.

(Meaning that Duststripe, her kits Myrtle and Bay, and Spotfur don't feel like they're "firekin")

But anyway getting into the weird, unique specifics of what defines Firekin would take forever. Just know that BB is doing a lot of setup for how Firekin cats are an aberration from Clan familial structures because they are seen as special.

The deets on Cloudtail and Firestar though, is that... Firestar is all the family Cloudtail had. He was supposed to be the one to understand him, but Firestar projected a lot of his anxieties onto the poor kid. They didn't get along well when Cloud was young, and didn't do the proper work to make Cloud feel like a son.

Fireheart was practically a child too. He was losing friends, he almost saw Cinderpaw die because of a trap Tigerclaw laid, there was no more Spottedleaf to share her wisdom. He felt alone. He felt scared. He wasn't ready to raise a child, but he couldn't control Princess' pregnancy

He should have been a dad, but he was adamant he was his uncle. The message it sent Cloudkit was deep and painful.

I want BB to have a better reckoning with the fact that Fire was a pretty awful family member to him, unlike canon where Cloud is kidnapped and comes back saying "you were so right uncle!! Everything mean you ever said was right!!!" Y'know?

In a way that CAN be fixed, but acknowledging that Firestar isn't always perfect.

Was it she? It sounded like her, but most illusions did, so he couldn't let his guard down. His fingers twitch when she reaches for him, but he doesn't stop the contact from happening. Perhaps it was because he was so flabbergasted that he was touched by an 'illusion.' Did his mind just up its standards? Doubtful, for he did feel warmth under his gloved fingers.
