i love my favorite teddy bear whose name i cant translate very well because english doesnt use definitive form in the same way as swedish does. but i love him anyway
#definitive form is used like....... more? in swedish than it is in english?#for example theres a dog at my papas street named 'lammet' which translates to 'the lamb'#but if it were in an english speaking country youd just call it lamb#so its hard to translate. but my favorite teddy that im pretty sure has cat hair on it cause i bought it at a yard sale and i get allergic#reactions when i cuddle it too much is called. bullen#which means 'the bun' but even that sounds weid#so i guess just imagine its called bun but in definitive form but dont think about 'the bun' because that sounds kind of weird#also dont think too hard about what im saying cause im still drunk so like. yeahp 👍
