really want to like the nightly manor more because artistically it's Gorgeous but man the writing really just doesn't grab me at all after they leave the mansion >___<
#for one thing uhhh i kinda wish it was an actual mansion murder mystery#kinda disappointing when they just Leave#mostly just because i think that's a really cool idea#but the bigger sticking point for me is just that like#i feel like it is asking me to mourn characters i didn't know#like man sorry gps that you're dead and maybe got Hacked or something that sucks but uhhh Who r u lol#and i feel like i barely know the surviving cast either?#it's hard to feel for a character depicted as disheveled and depressed in mourning when like#i barely know what top hat and sketchpad are like normally#it feels kinda like i'm missing episodes sometimes#bri talks#again tho The animation and overall presentation is really really good.#but like.... feel like the writing does not have enough meat on its bones i guess#brifdi
