Yoshino’s voice seems to echo farther than should be possible for someone who appears so petite, as she shamelessly calls out her friend’s name. One would think that a tanuki would act more respectfully when in the vicinity of kitsunes: their differences in power were easy to note even to inexperienced eyes and the latter species was certainly surrounded by more grandeur than a small tanuki like her could ever hope for. But Yoshino is a tanuki in the fool-blooded sense, someone who looks at customs and decides to ignore them, who skips happily from room to room and hallway through hallway until she can throw open the door leading to the room she was actually looking for. Folding her hands behind her back and tilting her head until her long black hair is falling over her shoulder, Yoshino stands in the doorframe, grins brighter than a thousand suns and says: “Kyoko. You won’t believe what I just stole. So guess.”
