People who knew me personally kept asking me "What happen?", "How is this possible?", "Is this for real?". Many believers will be able to relate to this. Because God works in ways people do not expect. That's how we know that God is good. HE IS REAL. He is GOOD, He is FAITHFUL, His LOVE is unfailing and His GRACE is abundant. Jesus didn't come for the righteous. He didn't come to judge the sinners. Instead, He came for the sinners, the poor in spirit, the broken, and the lost. I, personally, experience His goodness, mercy, and grace. I was beyond repair, a lost cause. I lost all hope and just accepted my fate. But one night, I prayed to God and asked Him for one last mercy. I said "When I die, Please, just wipe me out of existence. Don't let me suffer for eternity." But God is so good. When I asked for mercy, He gave me grace, unfailing love, and Jesus. Today, I can attest to everyone that He changed me from head to foot. from inside-out. God's LOVE for me, changed me. The thing that I tried to take away by myself for 18 years, was removed instantly by His grace. The person I was which controlled me, enslaved me, condemned me, and became my jail for 31 years, died. And God released me from that jail in a blink of an eye. He gave me a new identity, and I was never the same. I am not perfect; I still make mistakes, but every day, God's love continues to change me from glory to glory. IF YOU HAVEN'T CAUGHT THIS. There is NO ONE too far from God. No one is beyond repair, and No one is beyond help. WITH GOD, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. If you are reading this right now and you haven't received Jesus, as your Lord and Savior, I encourage you to pray with me. Let's pray. "Lord Jesus. I need you. I believe that you alone can help me. Even though I failed you, you loved me anyway. Please come into my life, and be my LORD and Savior. In Jesus' Name. Amen." Are You Lukewarm?

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth." -Revelation 3:15-16 (NIV)

In Revelation chapter 3, Jesus warns the church of Laodicea that their lukewarm faith and their lukewarm lifestyle is going to cause him to spit them out of his mouth. It is perhaps one of the strongest rebukes we see from Jesus regarding the church in the New Testament, and it is super relevant to us today. So many of us have a lukewarm faith, and so many of us are living a lukewarm lifestyle.

Many of us as Christians want to mix a little bit of Jesus with a whole lot of junk from this world. We don't want Jesus to radically transform our lives and we have no intention of being "sold out" forJesus, we just want to sprinkle a little bit of Jesus into our lives so that we feel better about ourselves and we can ease our conscience from time to time. But this is not what Jesus wants; that lukewarm road does not lead to eternal life. Jesus wants us to be on fire for him; he wants us to live a lifestyle of wholehearted devotion to him. Which will you choose today?

BIBLE READING: James 1:21-25

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Peter 3, Ezekiel 45-46

MESSAGE

Not long after I newly gave my life to Christ, I went for Bible Study and the teacher said worldly music invites evil spirits into the home. Immediately I got home, I got rid of all the worldly music I had. I didn’t even look at any for fear of seeing one or two that might make me reconsider my decision.

I acted on the word immediately and disconnected my home from demonic visits. This same attitude is what is expected of you whenever you hear a word that convicts you. John 15:14 says: “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” God expects us to be doers and not hearers. As a matter of fact, the blessings of God will come into your life after doing what the word requires of you, not just hearing.

Deuteronomy 28:1-68 lists many blessings, with a condition: ..if thou shalt hearken diligently to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe and to do all his commandments… Don’t be like the man described in our Bible reading for today. Always see yourself through the mirror of the word and amend your way immediately.

ACTION POINT:

When Gods word convicts you of something, act on it immediately.

Living by faith that God is in control of our lives is the ONLY recommended way for Christ believers to live. Faith is the fuel of everything we do in our lives. But sometimes we tend to be distracted by what we see–by the reality, financial problems, issues of life– though we lay it down on God's feet, we never really let go of it. We still keep on thinking about it, thinking of ways to fix or resolve things our way. You are not alone. Many of us are guilty of it. We are humans and God knows it. But despite the lack of focus on our Goal–to become like Christ– His grace and love never changes. As we seek Him everyday, we are becoming more and more like Jesus from glory to glory.
