did they fire the original person to draw alloy? It doesn't seem like they can recreate it correctly on auros. They already updated it once but it still looks wrong to me.

Is anyone else seeing it or am I just crazy? The highlights are still wayyy too blown out and they don't do that circle end thing before the edge of the wing like in the others. There's no proper base color that I can see either, too bright.

Edit: Ok, so it looks like they reference coatls for the fix, bc they do that too

so maybe theyre going for a feather vs membrance thing like a friend of mine said, but skydancers arent like that

and skydancers wear it better imo

Could anyone point me towards any posts/threads made by Mesoamerican indigenous people regarding the auraboas design/headcrests in general? I understand how the lore is misleading and could definitely use work, but the design seems like a mix of the European amphiptere and gods with feathered serpent forms like Quetzalcoatl, who seems to always have a headsress in the old artworks i've found. I know why making a design inspired by groups like the Pawnee with a headdress is bad, but with this dragon having a really obvious Mesoamerican inspiration, i'm not sure what carries over. I've also seen some people say that feathers like that are okay when they are growing from the being they are attached to, so i'd like some more opinions on it. I'm just not sure where the appropriation to appreciation line is in this sort of situation.

I was scrying a dragon and I noticed that Contour does not line up with Mochlus at the tail end

For reference purposes, I used a different colour to better show it (as the original colour was Cyan)
