1. Set the bike upside down The first thing you need to do if you want to repair your bike's faulty tire is to position your bike on to its handle. The tires will come on top from where it would be easy to remove & repair the tires. Place it adequately on a flat surface so that it should not shake while repairing.

2. Remove the faulty tire Next thing you need to do is unfastened the nuts on the axle which holds up the tire. Other a variety of things like gear levers, brake wires depends upon your bike's artificial structure, so loose up the tire totally so that you can take it out of the framecasing or axle.

3. Remove the tube from the rim After you have removed the tire from the axle, open up the tire using iron rods which can be easily inserted between tire & rim without damaging the tube inside. do again the action of putting iron bar between tire & rim unless tire comes off the rim. locate the input tip of air on the tube & force down it to take off the tube from the rim.

4. Check the inside of the tire for faults Once you have removed the tube as well from the tire, put a cloth inside the hollow tire & clean it from the inside. After you have done the cleartout, check for any damages inside the tire or something that damaged the tube, like nails, sharp items stuffed in the tire etc.

5. Look for faults in the tube The tube must be propel in with air & should be checked intelligently for any faults. Even then if you are unable to find the out of order area, fill a big container of water to immerse the air filled tube in it to see from where the air is ooze out. In case the error is along the ridge, then the tube is irreparable; you will have to buy a new tube in its place.

6. Patch up the holes/faults After you have positioned the faults or holes in the tube, patch it up using patch up kit. Rough up the area around the fault using sandpaper so that the patch is easily fixed there. Use a sticky patch to cover the fault and stick it over to completely seal the area, such that air cannot escape it after it gets dry.

7. Test the patched up tube The patching of the fault needs some time to clear up down or dry out. After it is dry, pump up the tube with air to check whether the patch is functioning or not by submerging it under water or by placing it close to your ear to check for any air escape.

8. Set tube on rim & set the tire After completely testing the tube & tire, place tube on the rim like it was earlier than and place tire above the tube. With the help of iron rods, put the tire back into the rim with utmost care without damaging the tube. Check thoroughly the tire so that it must be totally enclosed inside the rim.

9. Pump up the tire After fixing the tire on the rim, place it on the axle & fasten the gear levers, brake wires etc back to the tire and make sure to tighten the bolts attached to the tire. propels the air into the tube and you are ready to go.
