So many clever people out there! These three pieces are final Year 12 works from 2016. They are layers upon layers upon layers (phew) of maps built up to create faces. In some parts it was built up some 25mm! Merle said she bought them off her grandson and wanted to do them justice. While I can’t give away what’s in the shop at the moment getting ready for Christmas (we’re great at keeping secrets!!), I can share with you some of what we’ve previously framed - everything from Tutu’s, coffee cups, hand painted plates, records, a nurses cape from 1918, a gorgeous set of ivory beads, christening dresses, masks, flags, flower bouquets, stamps, graduation caps, an A380 airbus windscreen wiper....and of course every item that has ever been associated with any sport 🤣 (I may have to add another post!!) We LOVE the unusual, the talking point, the emotions and memories.
