Some drone photos from Taka Makassar island in Komodo National Park. We returned back from our last trip to Komodo just 2 days ago. On this trip we explored some new places at the south of Rinca island but also visited our favorite places. On these photos is one of our favorite and well-known place in Komodo - the island of Taka Makassar. It is located near Manta Point. It looks great not only from the drone but also has rich reefs full of life around the island. We spent our last night at this place before going back to Labuan Bajo. Today we returned back to Nusa Penida after 5 days freedive safari at Komodo National Park.🏝️ It was truly awesome trip with huge team of interesting people. Lot of fun, lot of smiles, lot of diving and meetings with wonderful underwater life such as mantas, turtles, sharks, etc. Beautiful sunsets, sleeping under the stars and night swimming with luminescent plankton,... We organized many trips to Komodo, each of them different and unique. This uniqueness defines by the people in the team, we all are creating this event together. Thanks to all the participants! After last freedive safari around Komodo we decided to stay longer on Flores and have family holidays. We chose for that @xpirates_komodo. It is very nice and chill place located on Sebayur island and organized by @flores_xp. It has several very simple bungalows, good tasty food, nice home reef where you can dive right from the jetty. Twice per day they provide free transfer by boat from Labuan Bajo which takes about an hour. It can be good option for people who like simple life and want to spend few days on the island surrounded by nature. Kayaking, snorkeling, diving, trekking up to the hill for sunset, swimming in crystal clear warm water and just chill in hummocks. We liked that place and our few days there. At the end of December we have next freedive safari to Komodo. Probably we will suggest participants to prolong their trip and stay couple of more days after safari on Sebayur. Several photos and one video from our last private freedive trip to Komodo with Robin and Rich. It was awesome and rewarding experience. National Park is not very busy at the moment. So we were staying alone at the most of the places. It was great! Beautiful sunsets and sunrises, very diverse marine life, Komodo dragons, line training, lot of turtles, sharks, manta rays,... Unexpected meeting with mantas at the dive site called Shootgun was one of the highlights of this trip (see the video). Thank you guys for these days which we spent together! Our second safari around Komodo National Park is finished today. Part of the team is going back to Bali but some people gonna stay few more days at Labuan Bajo.
