Movie nights with the Bad Kids usually start with arguments. Not for what movie they want to see. No, it's because they disagree on the snacks.
if they're not at the Seacaster manor (where Cathilda will periodically drop off snacks and drinks throughout the movie) they have to go shopping for snacks.
As far as life experience goes it's good for Adaine and Fabian to get out and learn how to grocery shop (the other kids are still trying to teach them how to use a washing machine but that's another story). Fabian still hasn't learned how to check the prices of things and picks snacks almost entirely on the basis of vibes or how fancy the packaging is. Some of the most disgusting movie night snacks have been chosen in this way so the other kids get veto power on anything he tries to put in the cart (especially after the 30 dollar bottle of fish flavoured soda in the fancy gold bottle).
Riz will almost always pick quantity over quality, but popcorn tends to be his go-to and as long as they can get him to pick the better quality option noone complains.
Kristin and fig seem to be in a competition over who can pick the weirdest chip flavours and often get in a squabble when it's pointed out they only need a couple not 15 bags and they have to put some back.
Gorgug goes for fruit, fruit is not a movie night snack food. Movie night snacks need to be horrible for you this is law.
Adaine likes those snack size frozen pizzas but she is banned from trying to cook them. Especially after /last time/.

The Long Labors
My grandmother said it was going to be long—as long as you can hold your lineage—depending on how long you can hold your tongue—as long as your tongue can wrap around the pit—of some stolen stone fruit—as long as you can hide your pitter-patter face—glued in sun-split splinters—lengthening shadows as long as your face—longing to be mirrored back—back to your daughter your mother your grandmother—freckle by freckle—furnished forever across—the long loaming haul—                     Collapsed in a pool of spit—my mouth over papers—raccoon doctorate—luxurious loser with thin branch fingers—no meat in the palm—no muscle in the bending—the farmer in me is atrophying—the cook the factory seamstress the clerk the mother in me is pooling out—all that I come from—all that I owe to them—what is left of me—what is—me: professorial rat—book-leavened and maddened in meetings—chewing at my desk on a frozen anything—microwave spun and splattered on lessons—wondering who packaged this—who spooned this glacial sauce into this plastic hull—whose hands whose daughter does she look like me does she like dancing in the gloaming—funneled into my greedy mouth—I: daughter of long labors—I: knock-off half-price guilt—I: impossible imposter big words big words—trying to prove what—and to whom—I wait to be seated at a restaurant—a white person enters and orders from me—“I want sweet and sour chicken but without bell peppers and brown rice”—and I almost take it down—                     In the twelfth hour of night-shift overtime—my mother gobbles the air of the facility—mouth opening a cavern or a bowhead whale or a sinkhole—gobbling up its oxygen its nitrogen its argon its skin its hair dust its swirling smog—collecting time collecting benefits—her eyes so baggy they carry a leaking pack of chicken breasts—she had planned to cook tonight for us—but look at the break room clock she is out of time and now—they will surely go bad—what a waste at $1.50 a pound—she returns to her station rubs tiger balm and lavender oil along her wrists and hands—chews dried ginger to keep awake—the root of herself sharpening salivating—reapplies pink lipstick swivels the tube upward—rituals of resilience—feeds letters to machines churning intestinal noise—electricity bills and love letters and baby photos and magazines ladies who lunch will take to the salon and credit card limited-time offers and reminders from the dentist and supermarket weeklies and postcards from Oahu—“you wouldn’t believe how blue the water how restful how peaceful bring the whole family next time”—ginger chew ginger chew—                     Who made this for you—do you know the song that reminds them of home—do you know to play the radio as loud as you can and roll down the windows and smack your cheeks ten times in order to stay awake for the drive—do you know who sewed on this button—do you know the murmuring leg ache from standing all day a tree for whom—do you know who processed the letter you received today—fed it into a machine with paper cuts as wide as a river you could float in—do you know how long you can hold your urine until your 15-minute break—the roiling pressure in the abdomen the tick-tap of the feet the hands—how much to tip the gas station attendant in Jersey how the smell sticks behind both earlobes—the temperature when flipping a wok the oil burns the white paper hat measuring salt at the brim—how your impatient face resembles a slowly rotting peach—worms in the snarl—do you know the name of  your fishmonger the name of  my uncle—the times he snuck in a call to say he will be late picking up his daughter fish scales glittered to his elbows like opera gloves—do you know cuticles peeling white like flecks of cod after washing dishes—do you know the smell of nail polish remover stinging bees in your nostrils—do you know the back—how the back curls how the back bridges how the back puckers and crunches—like packed snow no one else but you will shovel out—I look up how labor is used in a sentence—“the obvious labor”—“immigrants provided a source of cheap labor”—“negotiations between labor and management”—“wants the vote of labor in the elections”—“the flood destroyed the labor of years”—“industry needs labor for production”—anthropocene capitalism gentrification—what do these words mean—and to whom—helping my mother over the sink—I snip the ends of long beans 豆角 with kitchen shears—the ends rolling away—green lizard tails—I cut away each word like a long bean—gentrificat—gentrif—gen—ge—g—glugging the g—down the drain—                     If only lying on a beach—limbs loosened like an old garden hose—if only watching the movements of our stomachs—rising and falling like baby jellyfish—our thighs waxing and waning—in bristle-rough sand if only—reading a book the pages—wrinkled and curled like a snail shell—from falling asleep against our faces—if only devouring a cloud—full of no rain no metallic muscle if—only softness if only we—went off in the softness—into the downy relaxing abyss—what is this word—vacation—my grandmother asks me chili hitting the wok like delicious dying stars—                     My grandmother said it was going to be long—going out the door always late for work—shirt inside out—said go on and bounce a howling baby (my mother/me/et al)—while skimming oxtail broth—the fat sheen of look how well we eat in this country—lest you forget it was worth it—lest you forget—the dilation of the cervix going the contractions going the grip the placenta the shit the vernix the garbled life going the soft flashlight eyes the milk the teeth the nails the hand on heart the soup coagulating on the stove—you must go—for what gleams in the dark turns to look at you—remember this—                     The work and the afterwork and the work of being perceived as not doing enough work though you are working well over enough—will this ever be enough—when is enough enough—the chorus now: not until the knots of fat—melt in this wok—not until you have nothing left but this suet—this smear of high-heat lineage—gleaming in the gloaming—and it is yours and it is mine and it is your dream daughter’s and it will last longer than you will ever believe—believe us—

Speaking of Looking to the Past to Preserve the Future...
This is gonna be a looonnngggg hot take, I'm sick/not feeling well so Niquil induced deep thought is your curse as much as it is mine.
Most industry is unnecessary.
Lemme explain:
Food industry for example. Everyone needs to eat, this is a fact. How do governments and powers that be start keeping the impoverished masses in line? Control the food. When you think about it, m o s t plants labled weeds or unappealing/ugly or even nuisances are not only edible and nutritious but a good number are medicinal (I'll touch on this next). There isplebes.ely no reason why cities, towns etc can not replace ornamental vegetation with fruit trees, berry bushes, vegetable plants like peppers, tomatoes and the like. They don't because it doesn't perpetuate hunger as a motivator to work for them.
Medicine - While I can concede that some artificial medicines can be useful and can help some situations but, again, disconnecting people from the past: foraging, herbalism etc you connect them to the modern 'machine'. Healthcare is the states is an absolute joke. I've mentioned before I have a broken bone in my foot and a cracked knee cap - to 'fix' both with modern medicine would require me to not only be out of work for an insane amount of time but pay half the costs upfront and continue to pay for the foreseeable future. I have neighbors who regularly come to my apartment every week to share meals because they can not afford their medicines to keep them alive, bills, rent, and necessitys ontop of regular grocery shopping. We pool resources, buy in bulk and split it equally.
Continuing with medical - Doctors in the US (not sure about other places) notoriously gaslight paitents and ignore them until it's to late or erroneously expensive to afford treatments and will require treatments or medications for the rest of their lives. I don't believe all medical staff is inherently 'evil' but I do believe they are taught in such a way to run paitents in circles to force them to keep paying for life saving meds/treatments. Insulin, Cancer treatments, Hormones and other life saving/gender affirmative/mental health care should not be putting people deep into financial crisis - it makes it worse and keeps them in the system.
Also - Abortion should be 100% legal.
Gender Affirmation Care For Trans Youth And Trans In General Should Be 100% Legal.
Sex Workers Should Not Be Demonized.
Automotive Industries should be abolished. Cars, roadways etc are another means to keep people paying into the money pit of government and society. Gotta pay 100+ to register your vehicle every year, gas prices fluctuate like my paitents with stupid people, people who have no business being on the road (looking at you 90 year old with Sundowner Dementia...) posing a threat, cars in general posing a threat not only to other motorists but pedestrians, wildlife, non motor vehicles and the planet.
Companies Green Wash products - Vegan leather is plastic...plastic is ass for the environment while real leather biodegrades and has been a part of the himan experience for centuries.
VEGAN LIFESTYLES ARE UNSUSTAINABLE, PROMOTE DEFORESTATION, DESTRUCTION OF HABITATS, EXTERMINATION OF SPECIES AND PROMOTE SLAVERY. While i fully understand people who HAVE legitimate medical reasons and even true moral reasons for being vegan I do NOT condone industrial veganisam - your destroying the planet JUST as much as industrial agriculture.
Pro-Lifers are a fucking joke and we all need to laugh at them. Ya'll only care about a clump of cells till it's birthed.... Why don't you put that money and effort into HELPING children already existing in the hell that is the foster system rather than force people to keep making people they can't have or don't wanna keep for whatever reasons they have???
Society has become a sham - there is no protection living in mass cities. Cops kill people for no reason, becuase they can. Doctors and other medical professionals can decline to treat you based on their religious beliefs, personal ideas, sexual status/orientation, financial situation etc. If you don't fit the mold, you're a threat. Everything is engineered to cost JUST ENOUGH to keep the poor poor, you can not be self sufficient without consequences and limitations.
We need to go back to small, self sufficient communities, embrace birth control for males and females to get the human population under control, reduce the human foot print, reduce conventional vehicle travel (long distance public travel and goods transport/emergency services being the general exception with limitations), get the ecosystems back in balance....

Coffee Tour at Doka Farm
In the morning I was treated to a very early, very cold shower in temperatures that were definitely not the 30 degrees of Jaco! I packed my day bag quietly for my tour and then sat in the main living room where there was a little cat curled up asleep that I must not have noticed last night. The driver was right on time for pick up and I was the first person so had my pick of the seats, although he asked me to sit right behind him. I sat there until we arrived at the next hotel for pick up but it was too cold and windy there to do it all day! It was cool to see the city of San Jose wake up and come alive at 6am as we drove through the streets to pick up all the tour participants. Everyone walking around was carrying an umbrella – it was a 100% chance of rain today, and they seem to trust the forecast! One queue at a bus stop ran all the way down the street, around the corner and down the next street, it was organized mayhem! Our driver introduced himself as our tour guide Max who had his first coffee at 6 months old. He told us that the traffic is crazy in San Jose because 2 million people visit everyday but luckily we were heading out the opposite direction. Once everyone was picked up, our last folks were picked up from an airport hotel, Max gave us the itinerary break down for the day. We’d be spending it in the Alajuela province which is famous for its mango which is unfortunately not in season! Our day began with a visit to Doka coffee farm owned by the Vargas family at 5000 feet. On the drive us Max gave us all the facts about Costa Rican coffee – it’s Arabica only, 95% of Costa Rican coffee is exported to other countries, coffee grown at 3000 feet tastes like citrus and coffee grown at 6000 feet tastes like sweet fruits. Max also told us about how he gets woken up at 4am everyday by his 2 cats Catalina and Nutella – one cat has another house though. As we drove further up into the coffee plantations Max explained how coffee productions is one of the biggest industries for migrant workers from Nicaragua. 200,000 Nicas work in coffee plantations in Costa Rica, another 200,000 work in banana plantations, and 200,000 more in pineapple plantations. These migrants get around $20 a day, which is much better than the $4 a day they would get in agricultural work in their home country just across the border. They are also given housing as part of their employment since they do the work that Costa Ricans are unwilling to do. At the Doka coffee farm, we started with our buffet breakfast where I finally tried gallo pinto on my last full day in Central America! I also piled up my plate with fried plantains, sausage slices, a tortilla and some fruit. They had 3 black coffees on offer, made from their own coffee beans. The standout was the Peaberry which I ended up buying a bag of to take home with me.
Max took us on a tour around the plantation, we first saw the peeling machine that has worked for 160 years without electricity and Max explained how the coffee harvest is synced with the school year so that the teenagers can also come to help pick the cherries when all hands on deck are needed. A sack of Costa Rican green coffee beans, washed, peeled and dried, goes for about $300 but up to $4000. In comparison the average price of a sack of Brazilian robusta beans fetches $100 meanwhile the most expensive sack is a geisha tree specialty from Panama which sold for $200,000. The peaberry is also more expensive as it’s a perfectly formed seed but smaller than average, they need to be handpicked out of the regular seeds. Max explained that the sweetest coffee is grown at the higher altitudes, but the honey process can also lead to sweeter coffee. The honey process involves leaving the greasy layer on the beans rather than letting them ferment to wash it off. When it dries, the honey process will take 12 days to dry the greasy layer too whereas the fermented beans would only take 5 days. The beans are all dumped outside in the sun to dry, with the workers walking through the beans with a rake to move them around for even-drying. After the tour we were led purposefully to the gift shop where I purchased the peabery blend for just $9 as well as some chocolate coated coffee beans for Alanna. We then piled back into the van to our next destination - the Poas volcano.

A World of Flavors: Unveiling Dry Fruit Tray Prices in India
Dry fruits are a delightful and nutritious part of the Indian diet. From daily snacking to festive celebrations, these little powerhouses of energy and taste grace our tables throughout the year. And what better way to present this vibrant collection than on a beautiful dry fruit tray? But before you embark on your search for the perfect tray, understanding the price range in India is crucial.
Material Matters: A Spectrum of Choices
The price of a dry fruit tray in India hinges heavily on the material it's crafted from. Here's a breakdown of some popular options:
Wood: Wood reigns supreme in the dry fruit tray kingdom. From the rich tones of Sheesham wood to the lighter hues of pine, wooden trays offer a touch of elegance and warmth. Prices can vary depending on the type of wood, with premium options like Sheesham fetching a higher price tag (₹1,000 and upwards). Simpler pine or mango wood trays can be found for a more budget-friendly price (₹300 onwards).
Metal: Metal trays, particularly stainless steel or brass, exude a modern and sophisticated vibe. They're also incredibly durable and easy to clean. Stainless steel trays are generally more affordable (₹200 onwards), while intricately designed brass trays can be more expensive (₹500 and upwards).
Glass: Glass trays offer a sleek and contemporary look, allowing you to showcase the vibrant colors of your dry fruits. They're also relatively easy to maintain. However, glass trays tend to be on the pricier side (₹400 onwards), especially for thicker, high-quality glass.
Plastic: Plastic trays are the most economical option. They come in a vast array of colors and designs, making them perfect for everyday use or casual get-togethers. However, they might not be the most aesthetically pleasing choice for special occasions. Prices for plastic trays start as low as ₹100.
Beyond Material: Design and Functionality
The price of your dry fruit tray isn't solely determined by the material. Design and functionality also play a significant role. Here are some additional factors to consider:
Number of compartments: Trays with multiple compartments allow you to neatly organize different types of dry fruits, preventing them from mixing flavors. Trays with two or three compartments are generally cheaper (₹200 onwards), while more elaborate options with five or more sections can cost more (₹500 and upwards).
Lids and covers: Trays with lids offer extra protection for your dry fruits, keeping them fresh and dust-free. These trays tend to be pricier than open trays (expect an increase of ₹100-₹200).
Handcrafted vs. Machine-made: Handcrafted trays, particularly those made with intricate woodwork or metalwork, often carry a premium price tag (₹1,500 and upwards) due to the time and skill involved in their creation. Machine-made trays are generally more affordable.
Finding the Perfect Balance: Budget and Aesthetics

Blocking out
From whom is she taking her cues ?
Behind her lense.
The colouriser romancing sincerity?
Arrogant ‘30s cut, mega-watt filth maniac?
Sharp suited, compulsively reliable grey?
The golden silence
Of a preacher’s glossy redemption
Teasing reality through the discarded arms of Jesus.
On call
In the part of the house wife
Spinning, washing, vacuuming the future
Emotionally suspended in bondage
Gagged
Shackled, bound.
Horse-whipped and hung
Albeit empty (perhaps not quite).
Moving to her mark.
This scene, is that of the grieving man.
The rain taps on glass.
The angry compositor or perhaps gentle typesetter
Twisting, pounding a rhythmical sadness.
Seeking satisfaction
In rolling viscous perfection
Pressing down
Kissing paper
Pulling out
In climactic folding
Relief printing
Yet still pushing in
Repeatedly.
‘And cut!’
They tried to raise emotionally strong men
The Mothers of the revolution
Yet
Crumpled
In craving
Punched out, die-cast, little heads
Flash Fisher-Price auroras,
Tantrums of purple and green energy
Bouncing off belligerent auras.
In this particular man-child
Visions shuffle the word machine;
Thin films roll credits in 3 pounds of wet meat
Propounding
Small town values and the sickening sell.
So standing troubled
Smiles switching on and off
Seeping passively
Through foam packed Lurex Lobster suits
The same person reflecting
Holding claws
Sign twirling
Along the cobbled passageways
Tripping
Or waltzing with the apocalyptically styled half-lives of the pitifully addicted.
Human directionals
Licking tales of woe from knives.
Faux homemade low-budget british preserve
Tracing the predictable script of forbidden fruit
Guilt-by-numbers
Victory through adversity
As love wins through,
Yet still
Your heart will break.

Birds Flowers and Butterflys
Happily healthy again, as normal as I,m going to get! Dengue laid me pretty low, actually considering "is this it? Is death near?" Felt like it.
Back on the road to health, and on the road to the mercado. Made an exploratory trip to Super Che for big boxes of juice, some cheap chicken legs, free run eggs, avocadoes , "Look, they're cheaper in the mesh bag!" Yeah, because they are so small you are buying avocado stones. Hrumph... And as always at Che it took longer to checkout than to find things." Why put on more clerks? these people will stand in line for a half hour. They have a cart full!"
Anyway, flushed with success, I went the next day uptown by combi to shop the big mercado area. Actually don't go in the mercado anymore, having found all the same goods nearby in tiny stores for better prices. A cast west from the collectivo stop and there was the shrimp shop, a regular storefront filled with chest freezers. 2 kilos of medium shrimp in a box for 360pesos, about $24 canadian. It was only when i got home that I saw these shrimp were from Nicaragua, product of mangrove clear cut grow farms. Not eco food. Damn tasty though! Next to the tortilla factory where dangerous unguarded machines press corn dough into 6 inch tortillas and cook them on hot rollers, mass production. 24 pesos a kilo($2) and I got a half kilo, which is some 15 tortillas. now tortillas only keep about 4 hours before they dry out and roll up into tire patches, but seperated by paper and plastic bagged, they freeze very well. I had enough used (washed bags from produce) to freeze a lot, packed between coffee filters as paper dividers. Ate 2 fresh with 6 boiled shrimp and mayo. Major meal!
Chocolate is a big agricultural crop in the mountains, second only to coffee(and dope). The Mayo Domo chain sells fresh ground chocolate(mixed with sugar) cheap. A kilo cost $4, still hot from the press. They also sell pure chocolate in cubes at a much higher price, used for hot chocolate drinks and Mole which is chocolate mixed with various hot peppers used as a sauce on lots of food. And the shop is AC, so I tend to linger. Stopped buying their chocomil drink, a sweet blend of choc and milk blended in an old fashioned milkshake mixer. Too much dairy!
While I had planned to hoof up the street 4 blocks to the nicer fruit stand, I caved and went into the chaotic "Cabelleros" store, a wholesaler where the public shops as well. Aisles filled with toppling bags of carrots, onions, potatoes, bins of tomatoes, red, yellow, and green peppers, avocados, bananas usually overripe, mushrooms, mandarin oranges, papayas, onions, cilantro, dried peppers, cinnamon ranging from pure powder to sacks of bark rolled into 3 foot long sticks, and all that in skinny aisles filled with aimless shoppers debating the ripeness of tomatoes et al.and a steady chain of overloaded workers packing in the full sacks off a truck conveniently double parked on the street, shouting to make way as they stream into dark back rooms or upstairs to crammed lofts. Anything a shopper at the till can't find gets brought out by calling a boy to fetch it from the caverns. Not unusual to see someone carry out 40 pound boxes of tomatoes, cabbages, cauliflowers, or onions. I think that many of the stores in the mercado across the street send runners over to replenish stock. While it seems chaotic, the stuff gets selected and rapidly sold at one of 3 tills. No half hour waits here. Electronic scales and tills that print a detailed receipt. Of course things are much cheaper here which makes it all worth wading through the discarded leaves and squished oranges, or risking an avalanche of fruit from the shaky pyramids. Cash only, always busy, it works. Got all my list, 40 pounds of stuff, shopping bags(bring your own) groaning full, stagger up to the combi corner to truck on home.
Oh yeah birds /flowers etc. Totally different experience. There's a lookout near my hotel with a clear view of the beach and the endless rolling waves. Steep bank covered in trees and a favorite place for local birds. The "pea tree" which yields a red circular pod of pea like seeds is in bloom, cascades of frothy creamy blossoms, loved by hummingbirds, and frequented by both the tiny jet black zipper, and the slower greenbacks. A bird new to me was a robin sized one with a red breast and shoulders, black throat and cape, and white and black wing bars. Sounding like a sparrow cheeping was another bird, upright posture, sparrow sized but very slim, grey with black marks. All those in one spot with a convenient bench providing an eye level tree top view.
I count it a good day when i see something special, and this week it was flowers. Bouncing along in the back of a combi pickup on the carretera(highway) we passed an African tulip tree in full scarlett trumpet flowered bloom. Next in an arroyo(gully) was a red bouganvillea, climbing a jungle tree and filling the space with a tree covering cascade of flowers. Then deeper in the arroyo was a full blooming pink blossomed tree looking just like a cherry tree but much bigger. Pretty nice to see so much beauty.
Blabbed on far too long. Just catching up after a 3 week involuntary pause. More as it happens.

So sometimes I write stuff, like, creative writing for media I am interested in. I create characters and lore and background. Today it is Transformers.
Today it is the worst person I have ever created.
TW/CW: blood, needles, medical setting, surgery/operations, caste like systems, elitism, medical trauma
The processor.
Such a delicate element of Cybertronian biology, an intricate network of connection and wires, brought to life by energon, electricity moving faster than his optics could see.
It was a privilege to see the processor so up close. Lights blinking, systems whirring, the almost indiscernible clicking of the chronometer. He was ignoring his own, using his patient’s steady clicking to keep his awareness of the passing of time.
It was only when the helm was open, when the dome was removed, that he got to hear the sounds. At times he could tell just from a glance what those delicate, thoroughly designed systems were optimised to do. Intended to do.
The fans of the mech below him grew louder, a clear sign of discomfort. Of possible waking.
“Shhhh, its okay, you're okay,” Red Cross murmured, his servos stilling as his focus shifted to the machine he'd connected himself to, flooding his patient's systems with anaesthetic.
The mech stilled again.
Good.
Perhaps having mnemosurgical needles installed was not the most accepted within the medical community, but he hadn't regretted it a single day. The rush of connection, the possibilities laying at his fingertips, the complete life of someone unfolding before him. The control he had over their memories. Their thoughts. Their ideas.
It wasn't uncommon for non-medics to have good ideas. He was more than happy to hear them out, to develop those ideas for application and use within his field.
It was so easy to convince them to talk to him. To have them follow him to his domain. An explanation here, a demonstration there, they ate from his palm. It was exhilarating. Intoxicating. If he hadn't been destined for medicine, if his function had dictated else, perhaps he could have been a great politician. After all, isn't politics just using the correct words to convince your way is right?
Images slid through his processor, stills of memories, thoughts and dreams. He didn't care for their other experiences, all he needed was the smell of disinfectant and the clicking of their chronometer. His lips parted, glossa running across it slightly as he pressed further, needles probing deeper into the core of this being, sliding between printplates and impossibly thin wires.
Deeper. More. He needed the treasure, he needed the fruit of his labour, he needed the victory and ecstacy of another success. Another addition. Another idea to cement himself in medicine.
His first patients hadn't survived. He'd been told this would likely happen, even with his steady servos. A surgeon with shaky servos might as well offline, what purpose could they have?
No, his servos had been as steady as ever. And in the grand scheme of things, what were a few casualties in the name of science? At times there was a price to advancement, to improvement, to the betterment of all. Why would a nameless mech be worth more than the lives of the many?
His venting hitched. The wash of memories slowed down, the first bubbles of thoughts and ideas finding their way through his connection with this mech's very essence. They sunk into his processor, his bright blue eyes dimming as victory washed over him. It filled his frame with joy, with satisfaction to its core.
He bit his glossa. He could relish in his success later.
The memories were extracted from the mech's mind, the ideas leaving nought but a trace of their existence. He'd had enough practice with tweezers, removing foreign bodies from hosts that didn't need them.
No, this nameless mech certainly didn't need those ideas. A miner could only hope to retrieve the materials for a good medic, but to aspire any higher would be foolish. Unnatural. After all, how could a demolitioner's hammer ever be of use in the delicate works of operation? How could his scalpel ever wish to carve out rocks and ore? No. Your destiny is your function. And he had just relieved this poor mech from doubting the good creator of all, from doubting the path Primus had laid out for him.
Red Cross extracted himself from the miner's helm, taking up a fine cloth to wipe the energon residue on the sharp points on his digits. The scent of freshly drawn energon no longer bothered him, he had gotten used to it early on in his career. He knew the limited amount of bleeding wouldn't be a risk to someone of his stature.
Though, in all honesty, if he died...
A glance was cast at the monitoring device.
Who would miss a nameless miner?
