everyday I remember how much potential finnpoe had and it was this close to existing within the movies and disney panicked and went in the exact opposite direction. and everyday I am filled with actual genuine rage because of it. it would have been so easy for it to happen. they had a genuine connection and rapport with each other in the force awakens, they were significant to each other's journeys, they saved each other's lives and poe gave finn his name and his jacket. there are direct parallels in the shots between hanleia and finnpoe (arguing in the hallway, removing the helmet, etc.) and while this might be too *spicy* of a take I genuinely think they could've had a better love story than hanleia. there's just so much potential in these movies (well, mostly tfa) that they threw away for, what, more money? im fucking tired.

obi-wan: oldies but good oldies. even if he wasn't the dad/grandad of the group it would still be oldies. if he were a teen now he'd say "I'm an old soul" "I was bOrN iN tHe WrOnG gEnErAtiOn" (I'm just kidding I love u obi-wan)

anakin: he tries to be cool with angry punk music like green day (and he does genuinely like them) but you put on taylor swift or the 1975 and he will start. sobbing. he wants to be cool but he's a basic bitch let's be real

ahsoka: indie/alt/sapphic ICON. she listens to mother mother you can't change my mind. she is what anakin aspires to be. seriously anakin asks her what songs he should add to his playlists all. the. time.

padmé: she loves beautiful music. phoebe bridgers, mitski, jazz ya like jazz, classical music. she is a classy 👏 lady 👏 but this doesn't mean she thinks of herself as superior. quite the opposite, actually. she loves music on principle and is open to listening to anything
