okay so I've been in the fandom for a while okay like right after FIRE around 2016ish idk I don’t really remember. But there's something I wanted to talk about that I don’t really understand. Ok of course its about the ship wars and specifically Taekook vs Jikook. I look on Tumblr and twitter and stuff and yall are actually always talking about how the other half od =f the war is feeling like “oh I bet the jikookers are crying” “oh rip taekookers now they'll finally shut up” like first of all it is never good to generalize a population of any people. I’m sure not all taekookers hate Jimin and not all jikokkers hate Taehyung. Sure there are some that do but I don’t think those qualify as ARMY because as the Tannies have made clear BTS is seven and if we don’t respect that then we aren’t a true fan. Now recently with the Jennie thing I personally don’t really know what’s going on but it seems to me as if Jennie is said to be dating everyone anytime she is seen with them so like personally I like to take lal that with a grain of salt. But if it comes out as confirmed than good for Tae! But what I hate about shipwars is that they seem to really contribute towards supposed fans disregard the maeknae line’s feelings towards one another as FRIENDS. Jimin and Taehyung as we all know are super super close and it seems like everyone likes to forget that. it also is no secret that Jungkook and Jimin are close they are like bickering brothers all the time its cute! and I think specifically with Taekook for some reason everyone and their mother makes it about the ship and glazes over the fact that maybe Taehyung and Jungkook happen to like spending time together, you know as friends. maybe they just find their company enjoyable also if Taehyung was dating someone (Jennie or whoever, idk) why would they have to spend all his time with her/them can’t he hang out with friends too? Why does it have to be all about ships all the time. Like literally there is zero comments under most photos of tae kook thats like “oh yay they're such good friends happy for them to have fun together blah blah blah” its always “OMG TAEKOOK” or “ugh taekookers are gonna be crazy about this” like calm the fuck down. Don’t let your ship blind you from whats important and that is that all members of BTS love each other and we should support them all as individuals and be happy they have a good time with whoever they choose to spend it with. And whether that person they spend time with is another member of the group or a member of the opposite sex or a member of the same sex why does that matter to us. Like literally just let them live. Personally, I won’t believe anything until I hear it from Taehyung or HYBE but like all this hate for Taehyung is unjustified and its no wonder he keeps his life so private if we act like this. Also like the hate that derives from shipwars is so stupid like jimin and Taehyung and Jungkook are all so close and literally they don’t owe us anything. Oh my... sharing or wearing the same shirt allows for ARMYs to conclude that Namjoon is indeed in a gay relationship so why is it when we do the same for Jimin and Jungkook; we are considered delusional.

Jikook has done more than just sharing the same shirt. Jimin went to bed in Jungkook's sweater which the other wore the whole day while carrying out his schedules for the day. But they are the ones boxed as brothers.

ARMYs are insufferable. They legit chose which members in the band are allowed to be suspected as Queer and who are not. Everything Jimin has done from ID: Chaos to Face means nothing to ARMY because they rather sit down and fascinate over the girl in the like crazy MV and the she/her lyrics to songs he has no writing credits on.

ARMYs will never change. It too late to change their backwards views but atleast they should not show up in Jikook spaces and spam with "they are brothers." "I do this with my sibling." comments. Are You Sure wasn't catered for the likes of those who will watch Jimin and Jungkook's relationship and just immediately cast them aside as platonic brothers without seeing and comprehending the beautiful bond they have. And hyping those who are claiming the travel vlog as shippers content.

No they do not have to believe that Jimin and Jungkook are in a love relationship but they also don't have the right to label their relationship as brothers because apparently ARMYs have proclaimed themselves as "who can be queer" police. ARMYs should watch Are You Sure and leave it at that if they don't have anything other than a stupid or an incestuous comment on it.

Like how is Jungkook slapping Jimin's booty something you do with your sibling? How is Jungkook's intense gaze on Jimin's sleeping form reminding you of how your father looks at you when you sleep? How the fuck are those takes normal?

This discourse can go on longer on how they are obsessed with the "rapper girlfriend" trope when it comes to Jungkook's relationship with Namjoon but I decided not to. But the truth of the matter is... ARMYs are annoying. If you are a Taekook, Namjin, Vmin or a Yoonmin shipper you deserve flowers and praise on your comment section but if you are a Jikooker you deserve a spam of "You are delusional" type of comments on your post.

I'm glad Jikook scares them so much. It feeds my soul. And it makes me believe in them so much more. Because Jimin and Jungkook even got "Queer ARMYs" hating on them. Like if they hate is coming from inside the house.... you better believe that shit is good.

JK and JM are so annoying to be honest and I say this with so much love.

Like if you want to fuck, maybe fuck and get it out of your system. Whats the point of having all these awkward sexually charged moments? I mean they have been in the same band for over 10 years. And if you don't want to fuck, what's the point of looking like you want to fuck all the fucking time? You know what I mean. Regardless of what I think of their relationship, it's very obvious that they are attracted to each other especially JK who honestly seems to be obsessed with JM (saying it nicely). And to be honest if the situation is that they want to show people that they aren't into each other, maybe they need to some acting lessons. What's the point of doing a show together and spending your last moments before the Army with each other? If you are dating other people, why arent you spending your last moments with others before enlisting rather than with each other? That's just clingy as fuck.

Once again, I mostly say this to JK than JM. JM has enough sense to tell JK to not flirt with him and keep him under control but JK doesn't seem to have the same things. Like we all know JM is irresistible but maybe try to keep your expressions under control JK!!

Also I was seeing Taekook vs Jikook discourse and I always wonder if these people are blind because to me it looks like Jimin is the prize. Both Tae and JK are literally obsessed with JMs attention and they want to be his main focus. I always see both these boys try to get his attention and I have noticed this since forever. I do think that JM tends to baby and maybe pay a bit more attention to V when he is around but I think it's because he is with JK and wants to focus on his friend when they are all together. I could be wrong of course but thats what it feels like to me when I watch their content.

To be honest though, if Jimin was in my team, I would thank god for giving him to us and worship him. How can someone be this perfect. If you're wondering why armys have this energy for yoongi compared to let's say what happened with jimin's dad, it's because this one actually threatens bts as a group and their precious reunion.

They don't gaf about jimin's dad or jimin because them being harassed doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things... which is bts and threat to a member's position in the group.

As much as they're trending "bts is 7" "yoongi stays " or whatever, they're genuinely scared that this could actually affect the group's comeback because if one member leaves or goes on a.hiatus it's over for the bts brand. And I think that fear is stupid because as long as yoongi isn't sent to prison he isn't leaving the group and nothings stopping that reunion from happening as long as hybe is involved.

So until they believe taekookers' actions could affect jimin so much that it could make him leave bts or he obviously stops Interacting with those two and he looks like he doesn't wanna be there whenever he's with the group, they won't care.

Taehyung and jungkook's relationship is overlooked by 90% of the fandom solely because they are so controlled by the narrative of the fandom/company that they cannot quite accept that anything outside is even a remote possibility. Ive been more of a quiet observer for years now [my sister's an army since 2015] and I've seen the boys, moreover I know how marketing and kpop works. It's quite evident if u observe close enough of the pattern on how this group of seven guys who genuinely love music is marketed you would understand to what extent you're being brainwashed. Im not talking about this like a conspiracy theorist. It's quite simple and right infront of you. Yall refuse to accept it that's all.

1. There are a certain set of stories that are made to be told by them, over and over again. Even if it disturbs them or they are bored. E.g: 2018 disbandment story, vmin dumpling incident, jikook rain fight/tokyo trip, mind you there are many things that happend between people who lived together for 10+ yrs but if it cuts the flow of events you are made to believe happened you aren't gonna hear from it, ever.

2. Like stories there are dynamics that each pair is supposed to portray Taegi as annoying/annoyed duo, taejin/jikook as flirty HS boyfriends, namseok/taekook the awkward old friends and no matter how much the relationships change or evolve you won't see it cuz again, it won't FIT the narrative that has already been shown.

3. Like relationships there are characteristics that thankfully some members chose to break out of during their solo era: hoseok always being sunshine and loud ( he's quite serious and very dedicated infact ), jungkook being that muscle dude who only knows how to follow his Hyungs ( he's very independent and has a lot of targets he wants to achieve individually, he's very thoughtful and organized) and Taehyung being WEIRD and weak ( he's extremely intelligent and super strong he's strategic and disciplined)

4. This brings us to the whole Taekook narrative, the fact that they've been seen so much during solo era yet people had the audacity to still call them distant and awkward solely cuz it wasn't via company but through Taehyung's ig or jungkook mentioning him in interviews etc. I think it's needless to say they aren't comfortable being touchy and showy on camera for content, hell if they were to shoot everytime Taehyung and jungkook hangout there would he enough CONTENT till 2067. They're supportive of eo and have a very big shared friend circle, when jungkook went missing for almost 2 months we got to know Taehyung was the one he was with.

5. The thing is everyone [ including my own sister ] thinks that Taehyung is being desperate or such whenever he mentions Taehyung cuz a. Yall have actually led jokers run so fucking rampant that everytime the man mentions him actually doing something you're ready to throw him under the bus and call him a liar or such. b. Im not saying jungkook isn't close to anyone else but when he isn't working or shooting content and just wants to be himself the one you saw him most was around Taehyung and yes it matters. Saw many explanations and excuses saying it's made up, set up, fake etc. But really? There was no original source of video to prove it was edited. We can clearly see it's him in his apartment and bam running around him. It was filmed in Feb from his hairstyle, when bam was still with him. I saw some of big Jikokkers here having a relieved sigh when he said he don't have a gf now but He only said he don't have a gf in September. Tbh enough time to casually date and breakup with a girl.. which I've always thought his dating pattern is. So technically he wasn't lying either. And didn't he said he don't feel like wanting anyone and just want to concentrate on work for now? Doesn't that mean he don't have any partner but will have a gf in future ? In short not only he denied he had gf at the moment but also anyone special in his life. I don't think 'homophobic country' excuses applies as they literally enlisted together infront of everyone in the same country's military.

Now there's the whole issue with peopleg giving AYS bad ratings on purpose. It just makes me so sad, how Jimin and Jungkook can never be enjoyed as a duo the way the rest are in BTS. I’d usually say they don’t view the members are real people, but using things such as, “the script”, “the protagonist”, “falling flat”, “forced acting” makes it clear they actually do, and are aware that they have to twist things into fiction to come across as more “honest”.

They have to use words and phrases that don’t ping as being unnecessarily hateful, but to do that, they have to paint AYS as a scripted/forced project. Because how do you unbiasedly say, about a band you supposedly love and understand do skinship with each other in general, “I don’t like that these two members specifically are interacting.” without it coming across as you being hateful of those two members specifically? You can’t.

They can’t give real Anders to how or why JM and JK seem scripted, because doing that requires listing all the things they do and why it is fake, without also presenting a case for why it’s fake for other members including Tae and Wooga. Because doing that would also require proving Jimin and JK’s actions have been fake this entire time, which is delusional. No one is going to believe that 10+ year long best friends are doing scripted friendship shit now, but weren’t in the last. Not will anyone believe for a second that two people would fake being best friends for TEN YEARS. No paycheck is worth that, when it’s not an actual fictional tv show or movie.

As for whether not Jimin and Jungkook see it and are affected? I don’t know. I’d hope not, but they have access to the same internet as the rest of us, and have proven time again they know what’s going on in Armyland. So I would say yes, they do know there’s a certain faction of this fandom who hates them being a Them, and they likely do also know how little is done on the overall fandom to stop it.

Does it affect them? My guess is no. They’ve been a Them for a long time now, be-it platonic or romantic, and they haven’t changed their behavior. They know people think they’re dating, they continue to act like they’re dating. They know people don’t like seeing them together. They continue to be seen together. They know people think their friendship is forced by the company. They continue to call each other best friends.

So my take away is, if they do care what people think, they have worked very hard on making sure it doesn’t change their thoughts and feelings for each other, whatever they may be.

All that said, it is incredibly fucked up that Jimin and Jungkook being friends is disliked as much as it is. They don’t do anything but love on each other and love on the other members, yet one stupid group of fans are loud enough to put such a damper on that. Those people need help.

Imagine shipping and pretending to stan someone you don’t like because it allows you to brag and belong. Armys/shippers extreme fear to become solos is deeply rooted in the sense of self importance that they gain belonging to “the biggest fandom in the world”. You take away that from their personalities and it’s just another loser out there in the world. Not to mention a lot of them are Yoonminers because they are Tkkrs, it’s funny.

This whole goddamn taekook vs jikook 💿🐎 is so exhausting. Honestly.

Was I a bit saddened when Jeongguk didn't mention Jimin? Yeah. But for the wrong reasons because my brain was hard wired into thinking "taekookers are gonna run a mile with it".

It's fucked up. But more importantly, it's not Jeongguk's fault - it's purely a me/army problem.

The fact that everyone in army has some kind of version of the members that's mostly fabricated, isn't something they can control.

They are most likely aware of all the hate they get online, especially if it gets really bad. That it gets really bad for Jimin a whole lot, from within army even, can't be unknown to them. But it's not on Jeongguk to change himself on the off-chance it's gonna reduce hate. Most likely that wouldn't work either. Tkkers, akgaes and Solos will hate on BTS every chance they get.

BTS are whole people, individuals that think differently and experience things differently. To reduce them down to their interactions with others is insanely harmful, but it has been normalised. From what I've seen, a lot of shippers (both taekookers and jikookers) reduce the maknae line to what they do and with whom. I did it too, when I immediately thought sadly about the letter when it's the first proper sign of life we've gotten from our golden maknae in ages.

So, as much as I'm f.e. looking forward to the travel show, I'd also advise shippers in particular to watch actual uncut ot7 content. ITS, BV, concerts and behind the scenes - there's a decade worth of videos. Yes, everyone believes in hybe having a narrative to push, so I don't expect people to actually do this honestly, but it might decode some of the army-internal brainwashing.

It’s not a THEM (the members) problem it’s an US problem.

How does it make sense that ‘fans’ be it solos, shippers, whatever, get mad when people we’ve never met talk about a member who they’ve ate, slept, breathed, played and worked with for 10+ years? How does it make sense to be angry over them interacting, touching, mentioning each other because of what the shippers will say? You damn right it’s exhausting😪.
