Fur oil & body hair positivity.✨ As a girl with a lot of body hair, I used to always feel embarrassed and self conscious. A few years back however, I started loving and embracing my body hair and I always got comments about it. I really like the hair on my arms (and hate how a breeze feels when I remove it) but I did completely IPL my legs and pits. I find it really takes courage when women keep body hair, with society always attempting to dictate how a woman should upkeep herself. Be it arms, legs or pubic hair. Why should how a woman keep her pubic hair be anyone’s business? Oftentimes, people leave comments that it’s “unhygienic, dirty, poor grooming”; bitch please. I own @fur_you just for that. 😒 If you’re wondering why my inktober took a huge pause, it’s because I sat on the fence for a very long time about posting this drawing. It’s a slightly controversial topic and tbh, I wasn’t sure I could talk about it in a neutral way at that point aft seeing another rude comment about someone’s body on @tsurufoto’s art. I fluctuate between styles and all natural. But if people want it all off, that’s fine too. TL;DR don’t let society tell you how your body should look. Fur oil actually works well on bare skin especially post shave, or on the lil fluff patch to soften it. Inktober; day three 🍑 Finally decided to try my hand at drawing my favourite subject: the female form. Something about such art has always drawn me in and given me a sense of calm. Decided to feature the amazing @fur_you oils that I use on my skin and body hair with this piece. I really do believe in destigmatising the female body, and desexualising it. The Fur Oil has been amazing on my little pubic fluff, softening the hair and moisturising my skin; I’ve used it on my face as well. While the Ingrown Concentrate has been a lifesaver post shave and when I have painful cystic bumps along my jaw. My skin loves oils and these, especially the Fur Oil smells absolutely heavenly.
