The first volume of DareSora: Tears for an Unknown Sky is now on sale on Steam. To celebrate its launch, the game is currently on sale for 10% off until September 21st.

Developed by ANAGRAM, the game is the first part in the DareSora horror and mystery visual novel series. ANAGRAM plans to release later volumes within the next several months. Sol Press will release these volumes in English close to the original Japanese dates.

Sol Press will add Spanish and Simplified Chinese text language options to DareSora: Tears for an Unknown Sky Volume 1 at a later date.

Greenwich Academy Second Year. Haruka's Classmate. A hot-blooded young man with a great love of sports.

Makishi's preference to act, rather than risk over-thinking things, makes him a perfect compliment for the ever-cautious Haruka.

Though he can sometimes accidentally saw conflict with his simple honest, he's an easy-to-manage guy with an empathetic side, so the girls in his club think highly of him.

He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, which gives him grief when he's trying to proofread, let alone write.

“To take a trip with my buddies, I'd go anywhere, even to the ends of the earth! You're with me on this, right Haru?”

Greenwich Academy Second Year. A slender, baby-faced classmate of Haruka with a complex about his height.

Yuni is an incredibly hard worker who exudes sincerity, but unfortunately for him, his adorably young looks often lead people to treat him as a child. His juvenile appearance and actions inspire everyone around to protect him, which sometimes causes trouble.

Doggedly persistent, he forces himself to drink milk every day in hopes of growing taller.

"One of these days, I'm gonna be even taller than you, Haruka! I'm gonna shoooot up, and then you'll be the one looking up at me!"

Height: 148 cm. Specialist Writing Genre: School Life

Greenwich Academy First Year. An outgoing younger student, always ready with a smile.

What you see with Chiyo is exactly what you get: a happy, cheerful girl. She can get along with anyone, even fitting naturally into her older classmates' social circles at school. Her fellow club members have given her the pet name “Pichon.”

Chiyo isn't much of a reader by nature, so she struggles with writing.

“Hey! Are you laughing at me, Haruka?! You cut that out right now! A girl's hair is a matter of life and death!”

The devil? The grim reaper? A phantom? A vampire?

All that's known for sure is that she doesn't mean to play fair, and she goes by the pseudonym “Queen of the Night.”

Luna's lust drips from her every word and smile. Arrogant and prideful, she has dubbed herself the Grand Duke, and she takes great joy in in chattering childishly with all those she deems beneath her lofty status.

Endowed with great knowledge and foresight, she is far more mature than her appearance would lead one to believe.

She lies in wait for Haruka with her bunny servants in her mysterious palace, Eclipse, which manifests only on weekends.

Luna's servants who reside in Eclipse.

The Bunnies have no individual names, but have different personalities depending on their color. However, no matter the Bunny, they obey Luna's orders absolutely. If Luna ordered a Bunny to die, they would do so without a second thought, showing both how strongly they are devoted to Luna and also how little they value life.

Red is the symbol of fanaticism. A faithful servant with blind loyalty and devotion to her mistress.

Fureraba: Friend to Lover Headed West for Switch

Fureraba: Friend to Lover Headed West for Switch

Publisher NekoNyan announced it will release developer SMEE’s romance visual novel, Fureraba: Friend to Lover, for the Nintendo Switch in the west. The publisher did not announce a release date. 

The Switch version of the game will launch alongside Fureraba: Friend to Lover Complete Edition for Windows PC.

Fureraba Visual Novel Heads to Switch in the West Along with PC Version

  Another romance visual novel will soon make its way over to the west. The latest comes from NekoNyan, which announced plans to bring SMEE's Fureraba: Friend to Lover to Switch along with the Complete Edition version on PC. There's currently no release date, but NekoNyan plans to update as soon as possible. 

  The Complete Edition release will introduce additional content that originally debuted along with the PS Vita version in Japan. You can learn more about the game on the Steam page for the original release, which has been available in English since 2018.  

  Synopsis: 

Springtime.

  The season of the cherry blossoms, and a time of new beginnings, new encounters, and new people.

  For Aoba Kyousuke, this new season marks the start of his second year in high school, and after taking a moment to reflect and looking at the friends around him...

All he can find is a dumbass too horny for his own good, and a weirdo who can't get over his strange fetish for lizard-humanoid creatures.

  Sure enough, he enjoys hanging out with them, and he wouldn't ever think of giving it up,

Jika kedua judul di atas juga terhalang oleh pihak Steam, maka kemungkinan besar opsi untuk perilisan fisik akan semakin besar di masa depan. Opsi lain yang diwacanakan pihak NekoNyan adalah mengadakan pre-sale/crowdfunding untuk proyek mereka selanjutnya (setelah Fureraba Fandisk). Output dari crowdfunding ini juga akan berbentuk fisik dan mungkin ditambah promosi-promosi lain. Sistem ini juga dipakai oleh pihak Frontwing untuk seri “Grisaia: Phantom Trigger“.

Terkait penghapusan laman penjualan “Hello,Goodbye” pihak NekoNyan mengakui ini menjadi eye-opening moment bagi mereka terkait konten seksual. Selain “Hello,Goodbye”, judul lain yang dihapus pihak Steam adalah “Imolicious” dari Yume Creations, dan “Cross Love” dari Top Hat Studios. Pihak NekoNyan juga menerangkan bahwa pihak steam tidak memberi mereka peringatan sebelum penghapusan dilakukan. Thread milik Top Hat Studios ini, sedikit menerangkan apa masalah yang membuat produk NekoNyan, Yume Creations dan THS sendiri terkena penghapusan. Pengeksploitasian karakter yang menyerupai anak kecil menjadi masalah utama. Desain karakter yang menyerupai anak dibawah usia “pantas” dan latar sekolah masih menjadi tabu bagi Steam sendiri. Mereka juga membolehkan, tetapi juga menghapus. Judul seperti “Evenicle” dan “Negliglee” juga masih hidup lamannya di Steam. Ada faktor lain seperti age of consent di beberapa negara sangat berbeda yang mendorong penghapusan ini. She has a daily routine of measuring her own body in millimeters and adding it to her records every morning.

Ask her about her figure and she'll give her most up-to-date measurements without a second thought!

She's very good with numbers, but between you and me, she's kinda clumsy.

Because of this, Haru was born in England, unable to see the Japan she yearns for.

She is the only person who truly understands Alice, and they support each other while spending their days together in Tenbridge.

A problematic girl who's constantly causing fires all around Tenbridge University.

Unlike Alice's theoretical and factual approach to science, she's a genius scientist who lets intuition guide her hand.

She lives in an age where modern science, magic, and alchemy coexist. If her intuition is telling her “yes,” then you bet she's gonna do it!

She was the first to figure out that Syuji wasn't from her time, igniting her curiosity.

What she wants the most right now is a male test subject that listens to everything she says.

Emmy Felton Voiced by: Iroha Haruno

(Known roles: Daphnis from Tiers to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord, Nana Abe from the Idolmaster series, Shichirya from the Utawarerumono series, etc.)

Role: Potato Airhead

Emmy works as a maid at Tenbridge University to support her younger brothers. Her work takes her all over campus, so if you ever want to know anything about the place, she's the girl to ask!

She resides in the same dorm as Alice and Haru, handling all of the household chores such as laundry, cleaning duty, and cooking meals, while also looking after all of the residents.

She takes her job very seriously, never removing her headband while she's at work. This means your only chance to see her with her hair down is when she's off the clock!

Though you'd need to be a lucky guy to see that. She works every day, leaving her with only enough time to spend with those truly close to her. That's exactly why her headband is so valuable to her.
