Moon one of clangen and shadowpaw decided they’re nonbinary and then their mentor saw their nervousness and comforted them. Then it says skyspots got into an argument with them and said hurtful things in the heat of it. Well then, absolutely loving shadowpaw here, and constructing quite the narrative already. They’re going to be my favorite for a while I see.

We also got a female former kittypet named Skiesthroat, and she’s very interesting. Moon one is going very well.

Oh gracious my warrior Halfrise is the worst at naming. His mate died while giving birth, and just named his four kits Chivekit, Lightningkit, Frostkit, and Frostkit. Why, Halfrise? How could you only come up with three total names?

Meet the babies, two of whom are going to be Frostpaw until they’re 12 moons and can finally get different names. First two are girls, both Frostkits are boys.

Immediate update: skyspots has looked inward and realized they too are nonbinary. I like to think they were confronting some internal biases and that’s why they were a jerk to shadowpaw last moon.

Separately, flickerflare found a lone kit in the rain and guppylight was able to nurse him back to health. Meet shadedkit, who is both a daydreamer and quick to help. Headcanon that the little one is so quick to help because of his needing help when he was only 4 moons.

Moon 3: the deputy and the medicine cat are gay married now. Best of luck to them. They are being very hilariously sappy in the relationship logs.
