~Galleryyuhself~ WiEats page brought something to the fore for me as a Graphic Designer, Artist and Educator. In this Covid-19 world, I am seeing quite clearly that at this time, everyone IS a Graphic Designer. Businesses have had to step up their game with lightening speeds. That has meant live streaming, Zoom (ing) and Curbside marketing.  Everyone is looking for the magic bullet, and that includes sourcing whatever is available online and hopefully free, to help give them some leverage. People need some way to make a living while all of this Covid uncertainty is going on. No one knows what to expect next.

What does this mean for the creative professions? At first glance it may seem daunting. However, Graphic Designing has never been more relevant than it is right now. As with many other jobs, the umbrella of services that Designers provide are not shallow in nature. We have educated ourselves for constant shifts in the local, regional and global economies. More people using online Apps to create content will produce much of the same looking imagery, as seen above. Creativity shall always be in demand. I would suggest that Designers embrace what is happening online as a way to continue to showcase what sets quality apart from quantity.
