Voice Actress Azumi Waki to Make Solo Singer Debut in January 2020

Following the initial announcement in September 2019, Japanese record company Nippon Columbia confirmed on November 11 that 25-year-old anime voice actress Azumi Waki will release her double A-side first solo single "Fuwatto / Citrus" on January 29, 2020, and released her artist visuals for both songs.

  After graduated from Tokyo College of Anime's voice actor course, she made her voice actress debut by playing Sanae Katagiri in The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls franchise in 2014. Since then, she has voiced Galko in Please Tell Me! Galko-chan (2016), Rem Galleu in How Not to Summon a Demon Lord (2018), and Senko in The Helpful Fox Senko-san (2019).

  In the ongoing fall 2019 season, she is cast as the protagonist Mile in Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life? and sings its ED theme song "Genzai ↑ Banzai ↑" as the character.   

  "Fuwatto / Citrus" is her first single to be released under her own name as a solo singer. Her musical staff's official  Twitter is now holding an online vote to ask fans which artist visual is their favorite between November 11 and 15. The most voted one will be featured as her Twitter icon.
