#gave it a relisten for nostalgia's sake and I remembered it being amazing but WUAHGFH#I think I've convinced myself to finally watch the anime.#I got like two episodes in the first time I tried it and never picked it back up again despite it being really good#but after watching the Vesperia movie (and its batshit incredible action sequences) I have a mighty need for more Tales anime#and I should really give ToZ another shot because I mostly remember it for the gameplay#and I bet the story is better when it's not hindered by slightly clunky combat mechanics lmAO
