So I’m looking into forensic geology as a secondary potential career path if for whatever reason planetary geology is a bit out of reach or impractical.

The cutest, nerdiest thing about forensic geology is that it lovingly references Sherlock Holmes as a major inspiration for the modern renaissance of the field.

man fuck this paper im writing on geoforensics. my prof said most of my sources have to be from a decade ago and no longer, and i was like "okay chill, that works, most of these are from 2003 so im just barely skating it-" 2003 was 19 years ago not 9 aouuehg.
