What do you get when you mix Game of Thrones and The Wizard of Oz? Emerald City, a new NBC series loosely inspired by the storybook classic. As shown in the first trailer, the famous Yellow Brick Road is still glistening, but the rest of Oz is dark and full of terrors.

The Count was threatened by Vlad's power and strength when he stopped the Count from biting a Transylvanian cleaner in the school. As a result,the count asked Vlad to to throw him a Carpathian Feast to make up for it. Vlad didnt know that he was in fact being tested and being pushed to his limits.

I may be wrong but...

In Emerald City, in one episode (i can’t remember which one) we found out that the real name of the Wizard is Frank Morgan. This got me thinking.

Everybody thought that Gerran Howell’s character ‘Jack’ would be ‘Jack Pumpkin’ like in the books but because of his horrible accident with the balcony, he was mechanically turned into the Tinman. 

Like the wizard being named after the Wizard of Oz (1939) actor, maybe, Jack is named after Jack Haley, the guy who played the Tinman in the original film, too.
