Produce 101 and rigging...

Produce was a really popular Mnet show, where idols would try to debut in a super group and promote for a year or two, but the best part was - the audience got to decide who makes it and who is voted out. Many people quickly pointed out that Mnet was being rather sneaky in how they would show preference in the idols, some got more airtime, others were made out to be mean bullies and so on. But what really put a nail in the shows coffin was the rigging scandal that was revealed in the last season. As it turned on, every single season was manipulated. Those who got more votes were eliminated and those that Mnet wanted in the group were picked, most of the time who would make in the group was decided before the show even started airing.

Lawsuits were filed, people like the producers of the show went to jail and idols who were rigged out allegedly were to be compensated by Mnet. The last thing hasn’t happened yet. The court stated today: “Material compensation is important to the victims who have been unfairly eliminated, but we thought that it would be best to disclose the list before, in order to restore fairness and reveal the truth. After much thought, we decided that the victim trainees who were unjustly eliminated for the following reasons were to be disclosed, but we will not be disclosing the trainees who had earned an advantage from this. Again, it seems that they did not know that their rankings were manipulated, thus they can also be seen as victims.”

And they really released a list of all the idols that were rigged out in 4 seasons of Produce 101.

I guess most of the idols that benefited from the rigging make up 90% of the final group, that’s how severe the manipulation was. I’m glad the show was cancelled and we don’t have to witness these young people being taken advantage of. Except, we’re talking about k-pop here, there will always be a company or a show in the industry to take advantage of young kids with dreams.

Debut Lineup 1–we all know mnet rig the final group to some extent, and I feel like it has more to do with creating a cohesive group that would suit certain concepts than anything else.

If the new group is going for a young, fresh-type concept, these are the trainees who would suit that concept the most.

let's talk produce x 101 (5)

here it is, the last round of elimination before the grand final and like last time I will give my opinion on the top 11 and such

#1 Yohan - does any of us, at this point, doubt that he will debut and thats there's a high possibility of him being center? No right?

#2 Wooseok - my problem with him is the same as last time, he doesn't show any emotion and that's something that bothers me. Maybe after this hellshow is over he will be more comfortable and show us more of himself.

#3 Jinhyuk - it's beyond me how I didn't really him at first, at all. I was out of my damn mind, that's probably why. I hope he makes the final team, hope that weird things don't happen to him the final.

#4 Seungwoo - here is our main vocalist and leader, everyone. Because I mean, if not him then who? There's also Yuvin but he dropped too much and if we really get to the point where I need to compare the two, seugnwoo is a better vocalist.

#5 Minkyu - I like him, not for his looks (not my personal taste) but for his hard work. He is always willing to improve himself, be better than last time, and that's really inspiring.

#6 Seungyoun - OUR KING HAS ARRIVED. Honestly I freaked out when I saw his rank when I was at work, thank god I was on my own in the room. He really is well rounded and I hope voters won't let him down next week

#7 Dohyun - I like this kid, he never really made my top 10, but I like him. He is a great rapper, good stage presence and his personality is really weird in the best way possible

#8 Hyungjun - he dropped a lot, it's so weird. I don't know what to say.

#9 Eunsang - I will admit that he did a great job in u got it, not enough to make me change my mind about him being in the top 10 but enough to make me look at him twice.

#10 Donghyun - probably the most unexpected member in the top 10 for me but he is good. Both him and Sihoon had my attention during super special girl and he was really good during believer too. His presence doesn't bother me and the team needs a main dancer folks

Now here's the part where I start to scream. they eliminated kookheon, the same kookheon who was done dirty in mixnine, the same kookheon who's fucking well rounded. You want looks? Kookheon. You want vocals? Kookheon. You want dance? Kookheon. Personality? Kookheon. Whatever the hell you want he has it. I know that he wouldn't make the team but he would put on a fucking show for the final.

Also Jinwoo? He wasn't in my top 10, not really, but he went from what? Fifth to twenty second? Makes no sense.

I'm so sad for Byunchan. I really liked him. I hope he takes time to rest and recovers well.

My Produce X 101 Picks (Top 11)

Here is my list on trainees i really want to end up in the final debuting group (in order). Tell me if you agree or disagree and which trainees you want to debut :)

1.  Cho Seungyoun

my number one pick. an all-rounder ;)))) !! his personality is so fun and if you haven’t listened to different (he is woodz) then PLEASE DO SO (if he doesn’t get into the debut team i’m going to flip)

2. Song Hyeongjun

a cutie and an AMAZING dancer

3. Hwang Yunseong

ever since his believer stage omggggggg (UNDERRATEDDDD!!!!)

4. Keum Donghyun

he is so underrated please go watch his super special girl fancam if u haven’t (his dancing is so powerful ;-;)

5. Lee Jinhyuk

he’s my bias in up10tion and i was shook to see him on the show. he’s super talented and is great on stage - i’m glad he’s being recognised!!

6. Kim Yohan

he’s one of the top contestants for a reason. so much beauty

7. Lee Jinwoo

he’s adorable oml and if he debuts with jinhyuk :00000

8. Kang Minhee

he’s improved a lot since the start. his pretty girl fancam is v cute

9. Koo Jungmo

super talented and i hope he ends up debuting (i like starship trainees if u couldn’t tell)

10. Kim Kookheon

vocalssss and stage presence is amazing

11. Lee Hyeop

really underrated and is an individual trainee!!! his voice melts my heart ;-; plz don’t sleep on him

SO that’s my top 11 produce x trainees that i’d LOVE if they could debut!! it was actually really hard to pick 11 bc all of them are worthy to debut

PRODUCE X 101 CONCEPT EVALUATION (5/5)

THESE GUYS DESERVED BETTER. EVERYTHING THEY DESERVED BETTER. Like their stage setting was literally the only one that made me go WTF IS THIS especially that clownfish balloon, im like this doesn’t suit this song at all, it doesn’t really give me summer vibes it gives me more space kinda vibes which mnet could have easily done. the outfits were ok though they look alot like the super hot stage from produce 101 s2. I honestly also felt like this song and dance were simulatenously the hardest but also the least eye catching becuase it was strong throughout there wasn’t any eyecatching points kinda like the believer stage.

PARK SUN HO - LEADER AND SUB VOCAL

SOMEONE PLEASE DEBUT THIS GUY. He has consistently been the leader and one of the main jobs of a leader is to make sure there’s good team work and actually all the teams he has been in has always had good team work ESPECIALLY THIS TEAM they really deserve number 1 for teamwork, they look like 6 friends just playing around on stage. He didnt get many lines but he’s still and always will be my no.1 pick

CHOI SU HWAN - SUBVOCAL AND SONG YU VIN - MAIN VOCAL

Sadly suhwan didn’t get main vocal again but this relationship between the two of them is so precious you can really tell they’ve gotten so close and i’ll be sad to see this again, when will knets appreciate suhwan does he have to do smth more than what he’s already doing?

KANG HYEON SU - SUB VOCAL

I think similar to sunho he makes the mood as in he makes sure everyone is working together well and moving at the same progress basically make sure no man gets left behing and i think he is well loved by all the younger guys too

KIM SI HUN - CENTER AND RAPPER

I think Si Hun just fits fun concept really well and his dancing always catches my eye which is no easy feat because i always love main vocals and main rappers but hardly dancers but there’s something about the way he moves that is so attractive and fun to look at on stage, and he is the only center in the concept evaluation that really felt like the center also maybe brand new music is just good at growing rappers it feels like all their trainees can sort of rap including si hun

He did his job and played his part well but for some reason after watching him in this performance I wanted to see him in pretty pretty like the vibe that he gave seemed more to that song but still i loved his part in the song
