Garhwali वेशभूषा (outfit), Garhwali भोजन (cuisine), Garhwali मेहमान नवाज़ी (guest Warming)… During my recent visit to Chardham although was my second trip to chardham, where I included those destination along with Dhams which I was unable to do previously. Like Hemkund Sahib, Mana Village, Gaumukh, Gauri Kund. Helicopter ride to Kedarnath complete air view. And also I explored or I must say got opportunity to taste the delicacy of Garhwali cuisine which I never had before, as it is becoming rare to find authentic Garhwali food anymore unless special request is made. Even locals have transformed their diet. Whereas the food I am eating here is best suited In the weather condition in uttrakhand valley. But it is sad to know you will get food which is not local but inherited so tourist coming from different part get what they want rather than served what is best suited in climatic condition where oxygen level goes down at height, where cold weather can best consumed with warming diet. On thing I could see was this traditional head dress cap on many locals wearing with pride.
