i’m gay and can’t resist the opportunity to be sappy so here’s a january 1st post to let all of my mutuals know that you are loved by me whether you like it or not and that i’m grateful for every single one of you and am looking forward to getting to know you more in 2024!

when i returned to this rpc after a year long hiatus where a lot of stuff was just going wrong in my life, i was a little nervous that i’d have trouble finding interactions and building relationships both ic and ooc. it was a little difficult at first, but i’m so thankful i stuck it out because right around the corner were some very cool & special people who are not only talented writers and masters of characterization, but genuinely kind & fun people to talk to & get to know.

this post is dedicated to all of my lovely mutuals whether we’ve written together for months or u just followed me today, but there are a few people i want to be gay toward individually under the cut 🥳🏳️‍🌈🩷

@vialaviolenza / @valoroso : my beloved mortis!! you were my first new friend that i made upon the end of my hiatus & i adore you to the moon & back. i knew you were special from the moment i found out you basically live a stone’s throw away from me lol but more than that, you have been such a blessing to me. you’re always willing to listen to my ramblings & crazy ideas & our threads are always fuckin based, so you genuinely have it all & i’m excited for us to become closer in this new year!! 💚💚💚

hihi i love ur blog smmmmm uwu can i request a gakuen au of Risotto or Prosciutto (its up to u i cant choose since they both are daddies fsghdsd) and the rest are in a basketball club (since i love knb sm) and their team had to play against bucci's team, then he fall in love with s/o who's a manager of Bucci's team? OwO i hope this make sense dshsdgj feel free to ignore this if u don't want to write :3

writing these as headcanons, bullet point fic, so i can frEELY RAMBLE IM SORRY this turned very self indulgent very fast if you want a more detailed story-ish kind of thing please ask again ;;;; also i couldn’t pick between Ris and Pro so good luck, you have two scary basketball daddies after you now ♡

okAY ANYWAY HERE IT IS , story proper under the cut since this got very self indulgent and kinda dark, i lowkey based them off kirisaki daichi ;;;

foul trouble (Risotto Nero & Prosciutto) 

Risotto’s definitely the center since he’s a b i g boy. 

Illuso’s probably at PF, he has the build for it!  

Prosciutto’s more on the lean but still sorta buff side I can see him as the SF but I can see him also being smart enough to come up with plays. 

Melone for all his posturing is a very good point guard, he has a high basketball IQ and is fond of flashy passes. 

Ghiaccio’s the shooting guard, Risotto convinced him to join after seeing him play alone at the park while he was on the way to his part time job. 

Pesci’s the one who comes off the bench to help them. 

Sorlato has already graduated ;;; lol 

If they can find a way to injure the opposing team THEY WILL try to injure the other team 

Everything begins during Preliminaries, your team was up against theirs. Certainly, La Squadra was going to do anything in their power to absolutely destroy their opponents. 

Prosciutto comes into your radar when you saw him trying to injure Mista and play it off as an accident. Mista had complained but the ref hadn’t called it. Instead, Mista got slapped with a technical foul when he got too heated. 

Your team only managed to win by what you consider as a miracle. Giorno coming off the bench during that last quarter was certainly something else. 

Either way, there was something really unsettling about them and you were determined to get to the bottom of it! Since the team was likely bound to face off against them during Nationals again and you didn’t want to take any chances. 

You find yourself going to a LOT of their games to collect evidence of their supposed foul play, armed with a camera in hand. 

It doesn’t take long at all for Prosciutto to take notice, a smug smirk on his lips as he whispered something to Risotto. 

You don’t notice their predatory gaze, too focused on the sight of another player being carted off with a fractured leg. You couldn’t help but worry. What if that had been Narancia? Fugo? Oh no, what if it had been Bruno? 

Worriedly nibbling on your bottom lip, you try to push away the image of an injured Bruno. Your heart wouldn’t be able to bear it. 

You walk home alone that night, thoughts consumed with worry. You don’t even notice the menacing forms of the two basketball players quickly coming up behind you. 

Pinning you to the wall and covering your mouth with his hand, there was no one in sight as Prosciutto gleefully drank in the fear framing your irises. Meanwhile, Risotto had managed to take your camera from you. Flipping through the photos you’d taken of them, Risotto couldn’t help but smile. It was amazing that you’d managed to catch on so quickly. 

It was only too bad that they were a little faster on the uptake than you were. 

From the moment they’d first laid eyes on you, to the sight of you intently watching their games, they were hooked. 

“It’s really so unfair,” Prosciutto said as he caressed your face, “Bruno gets all the good ones.” 

You can’t help it, you freeze. Too terrified to think as Risotto angles the camera to your face. 

“Beautiful,” Risotto breathes as he reviews the photo he had taken of you, “you make the most lovely expressions, _____.” 

When Risotto moves to show the picture to Prosciutto, you take their distraction as a window to act. Quickly, you shove your hand down your pocket, fingers moving on muscle memory to try and contact Bruno. 

That too was a part of their plan. 

Prosciutto grabs your hand, forcing you to take your phone out of your pocket. 

There’s a sadistic glint in his eyes as he takes your phone from you, a teasing lilt to his voice as he says, “hey Bruno, hope you don’t mind if we hang out with your cute little manager?” 

You can hear the outrage, the worry in Bruno’s voice as he yells at Prosciutto. 

Risotto takes the phone from him, cutting off Bruno’s words with a harsh, “if you want _____ back, you’re welcome to try.” 

The call cuts off and Risotto takes another shot of your terrified face, quickly sending the image to Bruno. 

“Now I know some more interesting shots you can take, _____,” Risotto says, a dark smile already blooming on his lips. 

“Let’s have some fun, _____,” Prosciutto whispers in your ear, his voice dropping an octave as he begins to trail just the slightest hints of kisses over your collarbone.
