Our final stop on the #GippslandGetaway was the cidery #Gurneys at #Foster. While a lovely building in a wonderful location the ciders were a bit underwhelming and with no other food choices the platter was poor value. #GippslandGetaway Driving back we crossed Poor Fellow Me Creek. Couldn’t find its name origin although there was a short-lived gold rush there in 1869 so its name was given earlier. #GippslandGetaway #WilsonsProm day 2: walk to #FairyCove - much more demanding walk than the stroll we’d imagined, but worth it - the beach is pointed away from the Antarctic so unlike the others doesn’t have huge waves (none when we were there!) and is delightful.
