I’m back, Tumblr.

Two weeks offline while focusing on rehearsing for upcoming life-changing college auditions, planning my political career and keeping my GPA where it belongs was just what I needed to go back to feeling fully in control of my craft and destiny. I will admit I missed Tumblr and its many time-sucking tags, but the life of a star is full of tough choices. Sometimes work has to come before boyfriends and baby animal gifs.

I hope everyone is as excited as I am for a brand new week to face as a tightly knit, united New Directions ready to take on the road to a National trophy.

¡Al fin!

Después de tanto tiempo encerrada, lo primero que hizo después de darse una ducha eterna y cambiarse fue coger la moto, que siempre le venía bien para tranquilizarse. Estuvo rodando y al cabo de un rato redujo la velocidad hasta finalmente detenerse, respiró profundamente, y se quedó allí, mirando el paisaje. No iba a echar de menos estar allí dentro.

—Fresco aire sin hedor a Thunder y lindo, tibio y brillante sol—suspiró, contenta de no estar más encerrada en esa bodega, recostandose en la silla de su moto y cerrando los ojos para poder dirigir su cabeza al cielo. —Me preguntó quien era Golfo—murmuró de forma ausente.

...que he pasado dos días en aquel lugar del demonio y aún no sé quién era mi pareja.

¿Una fiesta de San Valentín?

Que desperdicio de tiempo, solo espero que hayan tragos. Y algo bueno con que divertirme.

Fiesta de San Valentín... --murmuró viendo el papel en el que aquel anuncio se encontraba--. San Valentín es un día como otro cualquiera, no necesita una fiesta o algo así --resopló, arrugando el papel para después tirarlo--. ¿Y tú qué miras? --preguntó cuando sintió una mirada sobre ella.

Estúpido maestro... estúpidas chicas... estúpida escuela... —maldecía en voz alta a medida que golpeaba piedras con sus pies, la última la lanzó con mayor fuerza, golpeando a la persona que venía delante en la espalda— Ops —fue lo único que dijo, encogiendo sus hombros—.

Dear New Directions,

after two days of football-centric celebrations, I think it’s time to regroup and refocus our energy into what’s truly important: our craft. Or, more particularly, McKinley’s production of West Side Story. I will of course play Maria, but there are plenty of roles out there the rest of you can audition for, and I believe if we work together as a team we can put together the kind of musical we’ll all be proud to remember as our last at McKinley. I look forward to a night that will only be topped when we inevitably win at Nationals. 

Good luck on all those secondary character auditions, and remember: there are no small parts, only small actors. I believe in us.
