ok tbh i AM a little pissed at the character, reading back, specifically for what he said to ranboo.

"if i can't have my movie then goddamn it i will at least have my alcohol"

Like hetch you're gonna ruin your "bad boss, good dad" reputation. I don't know. "MY movie." That was supposed to be an olive branch for Charlie. And yeah, of course it was going to be a nice time for everyone. And yeah, Hetch did focus on Ranboo's safety first, which is great. And I DID want Hetch to get to indulge in his love of film.

But it's so childishly selfish? "MY movie." As if it couldn't be rescheduled. As if Hetch is the only person disappointed by this turn of events. Like Ranboo snatched away something that belonged to Hetch.

It's good writing obviously! Yay for depth and layers and multidimensional characters. But also 😑 arghh. I'm so disappointed in Hetch. I was thiiiiis close to sending in a message asking him to just hand the earpiece over to someone who wanted to actually listen to us. (Since some of us were cool with him drinking though, that wouldn't have been fair, and might just have pissed him off.)

Although I just refreshed and he's already pissed off. 🙄

I just hope Charlie/Sneeg/Ranboo are off doing something enjoyable and productive and letting Hetch stew in the problems he's causing himself alone for a bit. I really don't want them to feel like they have to fix this. I've already mentioned how this is gonna suck for Ranboo's guilt complex but it sucks for Charlie too. Say goodbye to bridge-building. Sheesh.
