This was incredibly difficult to narrow down to five and it breaks my heart to leave a few shows off the list so i added them as honorary mentions 👉👈.  fair warning that i am not a writer but i will try i guess to make my ramblings make sense!!

1. 3 Will Be Free: this might be the best show I have ever seen in my life. First off, the cast is absolutely incredible (Tay, Mild, Jennie, Joss, literally everyone....). The plot and the character arcs/backgrounds, the cinematography, the dialogue, all of it is wonderful and fantastic and i wish i could watch it again for the first time. 

2. Good Omens: I’ve loved this book for years and the transformation of it into a show was worrisome (as book adaptions usually are) but god did they pull it off. David Tennant and Michael Sheen are fantastic as CrowAz and the effects are so dramatically ridiculous it just fits together so well. They kept the heart and the humor of the book and they brought it to screen in a way that was just as fantastic (if not 10x more homoerotic... thanks kings @ David/Michael)

3. Dark Blue Kiss: oh petekao. oh how they break my heart. something about them. this show was so Real. just the drama and the friends and the hurt everything about it was so real you could feel the hearts breaking and the love coming from everyone. the LGBT+ dialogues, queer!Apple (always a wonderful part for me), Tay of course, CoffeeShop AU is always a killer as well @ sunmork. Everything about this one makes me ache. 

4. The Good Place: God do i love this show. The HUMOR. its just so niche and the moral arguments and eternal questionings of the foundations of life itself..... this show is one of the best. (Who died and made Aristotle in charge of ethics? Plato!) The show finale still makes me sob, and Chidi and Eleanor are a god tier couple.

5. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: This bad boy can hold so much Found Family. GODDD. DS9 is the best star trek hands down. the characters.... the LGBT+ arcs.... the homoeroticism.... the Family and Friends and Love and Humor. The characters are all so wonderful and well written and well acted and i just love this funky little space family so much. 

Honorary Mentions: 

Where Your Eyes Linger (the first lgbt korean drama that i have ever seen and made me feel so validated), Sense8 (FOUND FAMILY, Cultural Experiences, LGBT characters, Adventure, Love, so much LOVE. brian jacob smith id die for you), and Schitt’s Creek (David and Patrick make me ache to be loved and known, Alexis is an icon, Moira and Johnny are the only hets with rights. Just an all around feel good everything.)
