For a godly relationship to work, it must follow God's Manuel. Demonstrating (selfless love) is taught in The Bible. God teaches us how to love someone without selfish goals or ambitions. The greatest account of selfless love that we will ever read or know about is Jesus giving His life at Calvary. He endured unspeakable suffering for us WHILE we were still in rebellion and hatred towards Him (Romans 5:8). Christ loved us so much despite our unforgivable actions.
