#goldic's drawings #goldic's messy sketches #goldic rambles #goku black #this particular project is fully digital with a mouse btw #no i'm not animating it those are just the wire frame and old tail sketch layers respectively #i find drawing tails are a bit harder to do without the freedom of just spinning my clipboard around #cuz yunno. mouse. and i can't be bothered to spin my canvas. can't be bothered to even flip it half the time #but at the same time drawing with the mouse is a lot less stressful for my hand #largely because i tend to press a bit hard when drawing traditionally #which is the other main reason i'm not interested in getting a tablet besides the screen disconnect in my brain #i would ruin that expensive screen so fucking fast you have no idea #'learn to draw lighter then' No~ 💛 the line darkness is how i differentiate the layers on paper #also don't worry guys i didn't forget the time ring in the sketch this time i just don't feel like grabbing an updated wip with the potara #might redraw his boots in the lineart phase btw. the one in front bugs me #how am i so bad at drawing shoes/boots at this angle? it's the main angle i draw in! is it because his are monocolor???#yeah i think it's cuz his boots in particular are just one flat color instead of the intricate detail i'm used to drawing #that's probably why it looks weird to me. it doesn't look *that* bad beyond that. idk i feel like there should be More to it #also also i think i finally learned the secret to drawing good hands. it only took 13 years of my life but i figured it out
