do you think we’re best friends in every universe? - ln4 & gzd
Tumblr media
pairing: lando norris x the genz!driver
summary: y/n asked lando, if they’d be best friends in every universe
word count: 500
warnings: none
note: a little drabble about the current tiktok trend :)
masterlist / taglist
„Lan, do you think we’re best friends in every universe?“, she asked the older boy. „Huh?“, he had asked back.
„Do you think we’re best friends in every universe? I saw this trend on TikTok“, she explained.
„Let me see“, Lando demanded. y/n stretched her arm out to give Lando her phone. „That’s a sad one, but there are happy ones“, she said as she showed him the video were the F1 drivers all had different best friends.
Lando laughed his typical laugh and said: „I definitely wouldn’t say ‚what’, I‘d probably say ‚huh‘.“ She laughed, as that was the exact thing he’d said when she asked him.
„Do you think we’re best friends? Seriously“, she asked one more time.
Lando tugged on his Ferrari shirt and looked at her Mercedes gear. „Yeah, I think so, even if we aren’t enemies on the track, I think we’d be best friends.“
y/n laughed a little, her heart swelled a little at his words. „What do you think, do we drive for different teams in different universes, do we even drive in Formula 1?“
His shirt changed to a McLaren one and hers to her own team. „Maybe, maybe I’ll drive for Ferrari and you for Mercedes“, he laughed. She nodded her head, wondering how’d it be to drive for one of the big teams.
„And what if we don’t even drive in F1? I mean we met here“, she dragged out. „I think we’d still find a way to meet.“
„I mean, we met on a Saturday in a bakery, don’t you remember?“, Lando giggled. They were sitting on the floor in a two bedroom apartment. „You’re right! London, 2021, a tiny little bakery, you ordered a cinnamon bun and I got a raspberry tart!“, she excitedly said.
„And look where we are now! I mean, you’re an engineer for Red Bull Racing and I am a professional Golf Player who even participated in the Netflix Cup with Pierre Gasly“, he added.
„I think we’d always find a way back to Formula 1“, she sighed. Lando‘s light blue shirt matched y/n Williams shirt. „Do you think we’d be teammates too?“, he asked.
She shook her head no: „I don’t think we’d always be teammates, but always best friends, right?“
Lando nodded as he handed her a pint: „Always my pub bestie.“
„Maybe not always pub besties, but maybe even best friends since birth“, she smiled. „You weren’t even born in the UK, how would we be besties since birth?“, he asked.
„But I was“, she exclaimed. „Don’t you remember our mums meeting in the hospital?“
„Fuck, yes you’re right! Besties since birth, my god.“
„I know everything about you, Lando Kinder Norris“, she giggled and pushed him away.
„Do you think we’d be together in another universe?“, he asked shyly.
„I think I love you in every universe“, she said back and drew more figures on his naked torso. „Good, I don’t think I’d be able to live without you“, he sighed. „Don’t worry Lan, I’ll always be with you, one way or another.“
„Don’t you dare eat that worm!“, y/n in her bird from squealed. „And what if I do“, Lando challenged. „I’m gonna pick your feathers out“, she dared. „Ohh now I’m scared“, he taunted and ate her worm.
„What if I was that worm“, she whined. „Then I’d have you in me all the time and forever.“
Lando laughed and said: „Yes, y/n, I think we’re best friends in every universe.“

When you’ve been in one of the biggest boybands in the world, figuring out what life looks like afterwards is no easy feat, especially when it encompassed some of your most formative years. For Niall Horan, though, it seems all too easy. He still lives the pop star life with a sold-out set of shows coming up next year, a whole host of festival performances lined up this summer, and an album that hit number one in the UK just a few weeks ago. Yet off-stage, he’s calm, carefree and so down to Earth that you might not even realise what he does for a living.
If Niall’s work life is about the biggest stages, biggest shows and biggest songs, Niall’s life at home is all about indulging in simple pleasures. Whether it’s bingeing a Netflix true crime series, lighting candles to make hotel rooms feel a bit more like home, or hopping from the gym to the golf course, he keeps himself grounded with a balanced routine and a low-maintenance lifestyle. It’s the perfect antithesis to celebrity life, and it’s helped him maintain the chilled-out vibe that he’s been known for since he was 16.
He might have just been about to fly to LA, but when we speak to Niall he’s as relaxed as they come. He’s still got yesterday’s hair (he proudly shows us how it’s still holding its volume), and he’s lounging in his living room in his gym clothes…
Let’s start with your dressing room. At this point in your career you’re used to being dressed, but how would you describe your own style when you’re at home?
I’d say I’ve got two different styles. One is very casual — I love street and sportswear — and then the other is very influenced by the 1950s and Sinatra. There’s a lot of collars, pressed trousers, penny loafers and that kind of thing. I like putting a modern twist on those old styles, whether that’s adding a more utilitarian jacket or whatever it might be. There’s a touch of ‘90s in there as well.
What about hero pieces?
I just got this vintage army green Gucci coat that’s very militaristic. I’m saving that for something good - can’t just walk to the shop in vintage Gucci, can you? I’m wearing this other, more casual coat at the moment, it’s a big green oversized bomber from Second/Layer. That’s been my go-to. Green goes with most things, so I’ve been wearing that a lot. I try and lean away from it, being Irish, but sometimes you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do.
I’m big on Reebok Classics. I buy like three or four pairs at a time and just wear them until they get destroyed. They look better the worse they get but there’s a point where it’s like, okay, you might just need to get a new pair of shoes now…
Vintage Levi’s jeans are a big one. I get them online from a place called the 13 Club. Lots of straight-leg denim going on for me at the moment, 505s or 501s. I'm also big into — whether people agree with it or not — double denim. I have this vintage Ralph Lauren denim shirt and I like that with a white T-shirt and some matching jeans. The Canadian tuxedo! I’ve been doing a lot of that.
You’re very into golf. What does your golfwear looking like?
I’ve been trying to '50s up that a little bit too, wearing a slack rather than a golf trouser and a shirt with a bit of that old-school two-tone to it. I say that…I also have a lot of the classic gear that I just throw on because no one’s going to see me on the golf course. I often think that, I overthink what I’m going to wear and then I don’t see anyone for four hours.
For general workouts, I’m obviously a brand advisor and investor for the Irish brand Gym+Coffee. I’m a big fan of all their workout tops, I’m not good on materials but they’re easy to wear and nice and light. They just go with everything. All their shorts are really comfy too, really lightweight stuff that’s easy to wear in the gym. Nothing worse than some of that heavier stuff where you’re sweating out and it’s definitely not pleasant to feel in or to look at.
Moving onto the bathroom and grooming… what’s your routine there?
Yes! My forté! Firstly, I came across these things on Amazon. My groomer showed me them. The orbs that you put in the freezer and use with serum. I just love them! Genetically, I get dark [under]eyes and it’s crazy how good they are. I’ve never had anything work but ice is the answer, it turns out.
Sarah Chapman is the brand I’ve been buzzing about for a couple of years. I do an eye cream, a spray, an intense hydrating serum, moisturiser and SPF — the old Irish skin can’t handle any kind of ray, so that’s a must. I’ve got to watch myself even in the winter. For the evening I’m doing retinol, moisturiser and then a face oil. That keeps me glowing. I do a lot of face masks, I don’t even know if any of this stuff works I just love doing it.
Shampoo is Philip Kingsley. I’ve stopped using conditioner as much but I use a Redken clay to style and a matte paste. I use the Dyson hairdryer — make sure you put that in block capitals and tell them they can send me whatever they want — I absolutely love it. And for aftershaves, it’s Le Labo.
Moving into the kitchen, do you cook much when you’re at home. Do you have a go-to gadget?
I have a Nespresso coffee machine. I kick things off in the morning with an espresso, then the late afternoon coffee is an oat latte or an Americano, it depends on what buzz I need. I don’t get too LA on it. Out there you hear all sorts of stuff…“choco-loco-choco-mocho”. Just drink it, will you?
I do cook a lot. When I’m at home I try and cook for myself but keep it relatively healthy, so I end up doing a lot of Mediterranean-style stuff — salads, chicken, couscous, all that kind of stuff — nothing too complicated until the weekend. I’m no Stanley Tucci.
On a Sunday we’re always doing a Sunday roast. Roast chicken, parsnips, cheesy leeks, cauliflower cheese, potatoes. Love a Sunday roast, it’s my favourite thing. I also make this really simple Italian dish that’s just so good. It’s fried garlic, chilli, onion, squashed tomatoes, spaghetti, smoked bacon and a whole block of parmesan cheese. I don’t even know what it’s called but it’s just magic, it’s just what you want. If I’m in on a Saturday night, that’s what I’m making.
Let’s think about unwinding before bed. What helps you out there?
Candles, always. I always have a candle with me, particularly Diptyque Fig and Oud. I usually like softer fragrances: Le Labo Santal is also a favourite. I actually travel with candles - hotel rooms, dressing rooms, just to give them a homely feel. The only problem with that being that once you blow it out you have to sit around and wait for it to dry before shoving it back in your bag.
I always listen to green noise before bed. When I concentrate on that I can just doze right off, and I do a pre-bed face mask every two or three nights. And I do watch a lot of TV in bed… which is not good. It’s always ‘oh just one more episode’ and then before you know it it’s half one in the morning. I love ‘24 Hours in Police Custody’. We watch a lot of true crime and all those American Netflix series. Name it, we’ve seen it.
Thinking about your living room, what do you do to unwind there of an evening or afternoon?
There’s a piano in the living room and I spend a lot of time with that. That’s where I do a lot of writing. I wrote probably a third of my new album on that piano, sat at home during the lockdown. There’s a guitar on a stand next to it and sometimes I’ll wander over there when I’m half watching TV. I’ve got a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson 335 that I play a lot, a big old red thing. My acoustic is from an Irish brand called Lowden, myself and Lewis [Capaldi] went to their factory on our Amazon show, and I’ve been into them for eight or nine years. Maybe I need a green one…I’ll be a walking leprechaun in no time.
I listen to a lot of music; I’ve got this big JBL boombox, it’s class. It’s got a big handle on it and I take it everywhere. I’ve also got a vinyl player, I listen to a lot of vinyl. People are always asking me what I’m listening to at the moment and it’s never anything new. It’s always the old stuff that I just love…in fact, I just rotate the same fifteen or so vinyls. Old head, young shoulders, I suppose.

Ellen: it's been an awfully big adventure
December 7th, 2012
Tumblr media
I don’t know how to start this, other then diving right in so….I’ll dive.
It is with a sad face I have to report that I am leaving Los Campesinos!. The show on the 15th of December in London will be my last, and I shall spend it struggling not to cry. Please don’t point out my tears if you come along. Simply pretend it is eye sweat.
Over the last seven years I have been blessed, not by God, because he doesn’t exist, but with opportunities and a life I will not fully appreciate until I am about forty-five. I will look back at old photos of the band, with our smooth skin and questionable hair, and go “fuck me. That was mental.”
The past and present members of Los Campesinos! have been my family for the last seven years and seen me at my lowest, my highest, my most angry, sad, happy, broken, fixed, grown up and immature. They have seen me fail, succeed, let myself and them down, learn the hard way, but they have also seen me grow. And they have always had my back, and I hope, I sincerely hope, I have done my best to have theirs.
There is not a terribly exciting reason for me leaving, (so please start some exciting rumours), I am just going to try something new. Fulfil my ambitions of becoming a failed writer and developing a opium habit. It’s all going to be very retro. I leave with the upmost love and support from the band, but I have requested my replacement not be too cool.
I would say I am sad to go, but that is too simple a word for the variety of emotions I have swimming around my head right now. I am sad, but mostly I am drowning in warm and happy flashbacks, vinaigrette images of us all laughing in the van on long drives across America. Joe Puleo, tour manager, at the front telling a story, Jason playing quizmaster and hosting a game of “Guess the Song,” from an app he has downloaded, and we all scream out responses. Rob taking photos of the scenery on his lomo, Neil watching gangster epics on his laptop, and maybe later on this long long drive Paul and Tom will play Tiger Woods Golf whilst I work out how long I can hold my bladder for before requesting we stop. I was the most frequenter pee needer on long drives. I am not ashamed of this. I owned it.
I felt warm and safe on those drives, listening to everyone tell stories, share experiences, make each other laugh. I am lucky to have shared a hotel room with so many exceptional ladies over the years, Aleks, Harriet and especially Kim, who shared my fear of the cold, love of porridge and put up with my ability to make a mess in any room in under 5 seconds. Starting and ending the day together, we did some good chatting.
I have seen a lot of this world, and I didn’t have to go on a gap year to do it. I have travelled across the breadth and depth of the US and the UK and I have seen a lot of different faces, and sampled a lot of backstage humus.I have seen a lot of graffitied backstage cocks.
I have met and worked with countless wonderful, interesting and horrifically talented people inside the industry, inside the venues, inside the recording studie and inside our practice space. (I won’t gush too much about how talented the people in the band are, you might get diabetes from my sincerity, but it has been a pleasure and a privilege to play the music that Tom writes.)
Also fans. Fans are awesome. You made it possible for us record an album in Seattle. To play a show outside of Wales. To play in a baseball stadium in Japan. A haunted restaurant in Santa Cruz. a handful of US universities and see Mexico! I saw Mexico! You girls and guys are truly humbling, and I hope I never took you for granted too much. I probably did. Thank you for knowing the words, for bringing cakes, and books, and t-shirts, and comics, and buying us drinks and for waiting and driving miles and cheering and clapping. For reading or watching or listening to anything we have ever done. Thanks. You kept us going and will continue to be the life blood of the Los Campesinos! family.
I was trawling through old photos trying to find the best one to represent a start and an ending, but I got lost in old memories and the process of ageing.
(God we looked young, look at our skin! Look at our clothes! Cardigans and ripped up Distillers t shirts, oh I still have that.)
I have eons of photos of the band at the start, at rehearsals, house parties, with experimental hair, (mine black, Gareth long and wispy, Neil’s fringe nearly covering his eyes and Tom always wearing his hat) and at our first shows. I remember when we first started, our summer of label romance where everyone wanted to take us out for a pub meal, and all we ever did was go out in Cardiff drinking and dancing. We said we would change our last names to Campesinos! if we ever played in the states, but we tempted fate, and we never changed out names but we did get to go to America a lot.
I sometimes wonder what alternative universe me would be doing if she didn’t go to that first rehearsal in Ollie’s bedroom. I think she is picking her nose right now in a bath of baked beans, bored and crazy because she spent all day in an office sitting next to a woman who told her about the time she slept with a navy seal. No one cares Brenda.
So 500 plus gigs, millions of air miles, gallons of backstage whisky and wine, a tonne of sweaty cheese and pita bread, a litre of tears shed on stage, hundreds of “don’t fuck up,” panics, hundreds of fuck ups, hundreds of “this is blowing my mind” moments whilst starring into a sea of unfamiliar and impassioned faces, break ups and ill advised hook ups later (don’t date musicians, like ever, we’re all mental,) I realise I have seen all the travel lodges, service stations, and states of America (apart from Alaska) and I have tasted more Marks and Spencer’s meals then I thought possible. I’ve been with some of the finest people I know doing a very unnatural thing, which is both the best and the worst experience and often at the same time, but never the same any given year. And we have done it fucking well. The best we can.
God I’m being dramatic, but I can’t help it, I was a middle child.
So some more self-indulgence.
I want to thank some people for being ace. John Goodmanson – a brilliant producer and a lesson in style and grace under pressure. Joe Puleo – the best tour manager, you never feel anything but safe in his company. Kelly Pickard – inspiration, mentor, wisest woman. Paul Rattcliff- The loyalist soundman whom gives so much. Kev and Alun and Mark Bowen, Wichita, Ben and Vicky, Gareth Dobson, anyone we have toured with or supported or who I have met along the way, everyone I forgot. I haven’t forgot, I am thinking about you.
My mum, because she told me I could be anything and do anything except get my tongue pierced. And I did that anyway, and she still wasn’t mad at me.
And the band.. Kim, Jason, Gareth, Tom, Neil and Rob who I will miss sharing experiences with that no one will understand, I love you guys. Like, loads. From our first Sweet Dreams, until our last, thanks.
Okay, too long, too emo. Bye bye.

Transcript:
talkin bout practice not a game not a game
hey yall
band practice for the upcoming EU/UK tour starts tomorrow! very. exciting. stuff. honestly, i'm just a tad bit nervous. it feels like a big sort of tour. the kind that we really have to put a lot of muscle and elbow grease and, of course, luuuuv into. with us, everything always comes together last minute. and i do mean everything. for some reason i can never seem to remember that though and i freak out like a crazy person with some serious anxiety issues. anyway, now that we're really all going to get in there and start rehearsals, everything will fall into place. on the one hand, you have to work at it to make that happen... and on the other hand, well... you've got to let it happen.
so, i'm pretty sure most of you have heard about Miles, who's been playing drums with us on the past few tours. Miles got into a crazy golf cart accident (i know, it sounds a little nuts but it's for real). he really f-d up just about one whole side of his body. mostly his face and shoulder, it seems like. poor dude is such a trooper. today, when i swung by the place we're going to be rehearsing, he was there and i was pretty surprised at his attitude in spite of how torn up he looked. torn up is a lot different than turnt up, by the way. not at all a good thing! we are not positive that he'll be on this next tour with us but we are going to figure it all out one way or another and the show will go on! we're just so damn thankful that Miles is alright and not only is he getting all the right care but he's also in as good of spirits as i can possibly imagine one being in his situation. feel free to send him some extra love if you're surfing the web with nothing to do - his twitter handle is @mileskmcpherson.
in the meantime, from now 'til the start of our tour, there is so much to do. first things first, we have a million interviews and promotional stuff we're working on for all these upcoming shows. lots of basic rehearsals. i've got a million merch emails to sort through, which is, for the most part, one of my favorite jobs to have. then the three of us really have to dig in to finish the show, production and set list and everything. the most obnoxious thing i have to do is to figure out exactly what i want to wear for the shows. this may seem like it would be a simple task for a t-shirt and jeans kind of gal but ohhhh no. it's the hardest thing EVERY TIME! i don't really enjoy the process of packing a separate stage uniform but it's just becoming necessary. now that i'm getting older, i have this fantasy of having this great stage outfit that looks sick in pictures but feels as comfy as my regular day time clothes. the truth is, no outfit of that sort exists. slight growing pains. what's more important to me? living out my freddie mercury dreams, blazing the stage and feeling awesome... or just the simple joy of being comfortable? when i really think down to the core of my issue, it all just has to do with the fact that i'm growing up. my tastes are way different than they were. but you know what? i'm a lot older than i was when i started getting up onstage, wearing the t-shirt i slept in the night before and one of the only two pair of jeans thrown into my suitcase 5 minutes before walking out the door to get in the van. i want a little more... i EXPECT a little more of myself. it doesn't even feel like a burden so much as growing pains. growing pains are a good thing because... duh. you're growing. alright, so expect a sequined purple unitard with bright red legs and a tiara. shit's getting real. paramore 3.0!!!! taylor and jeremy are glittering their beards!
when i was a kid, my dad would take me to ultimate fun world every other sunday and we'd ride go-karts and play arcade games. around the time i was 9, i started to get the worrrrst growing pains in my ankles and around the lower parts of my legs. it sounds funny but pushing on the gas pedal of the go-kart and driving around seemed to ease the discomfort cause i'd be stretching my leg out and putting pressure on my foot while stepping on the gas pedal so hard it hit the floor board. we'd drive all day. i'd race every kid on the track and sometimes dad would ride with me and other times we'd even race each other. by the time we were done, i'd be laughing so hard and smiling so big that the pains in my leg were hardly noticeable and for some reason to this day i think about all that.
the weirdest part of this whole entry is that all i came here to say is this... we are incredibly excited about the next few months of life, paramore, music, everything. i, personally, have this feeling that even though we want to put on the biggest shows we've ever put on, they will still feel incredibly intimate to us and hopefully to you too. that energy is what i live for and as much as i go back and think on all the incredible memories we made at tiny hole-in-the-wall places with a few hundred people... the way it feels to know that we've really grown and come all this way with you is completely and stupidly overwhelming in the best way possible. thanks for all of it. remember this, as much as we are pressing the pedal to the metal, you are driving this freaking go-kart. you are the reason we've gotten where we are. let's make more ridiculous memories. see you soon, over there!

Nice Cowboy’n knuck if you buck men’s marlboro shirt
Funny Ufc 306 noche sean o’malley vs merab dvalishvili 2024 poster shirt I think it is obvious that i really love Christmas and Christmas decorating. One of the Funny Ufc 306 noche sean o’malley vs merab dvalishvili 2024 poster shirt i was doing when we first married was creating a kind of scrapbook of the history of our family Christmas. Each year i did about 4 pages of what we did for Christmas, and where we went, and what ornaments we bought that year. (All ornaments have a date added to them.) It was with the idea that our kids could look back at the history of our family. Only, there were no kids. I didn’t realize i’d stopped doing it, after about five years, until i later came across the book that hadn’t been filled in for some time. Ah, well, the plans and dreams we have, and then the reality of how things turn out.

Funny Passion deez august 18th 2024 amsterdam netherlands poster shirt Judging from what I saw during Halloween and Thanksgiving, I would say the Funny Passion deez august 18th 2024 amsterdam netherlands poster shirt, cozy and nesting look is in. Stuff that gives off that homespun look. Think late 1960’s all the way up to the 1970’s. I don’t know if you remember the Carter era but I think that’s going to be during this season and the next. Inflation was high, gas prices went through the roof, hamburgers were so expensive, people weren’t used to prices being so high. So people stayed at home more, and I think that’s what is going to happen. They will be baking and cooking more at home as opposed to going out and running a big tab. But you asked about the decorations, and I will try to answer your question. Homemade, homespun, cozy and homey. I think that’s going to be the trend, this year. People don ’t have the money for the glitz or all the bells and whistle this holiday season. No over the top, no putting on the dog, so to speak or no needless spending. If you can make it, that’s great and there is a ton tutorials on Youtube to show you how.

Funny 2024 dj khaled we the best yellow golf club shirt In the United States, state capitals aren’t generally the Funny 2024 dj khaled we the best yellow golf club shirt or most populated cities. Take as an example California (Sacramento is the capital, not Los Angeles or San Francisco) or Illinois (Springfield is the capital, not Chicago) and you could go on with Texas, Florida, etc… even when it comes to the United States as a whole you would think New York City or Los Angeles should be the capital and not Washington D.C, but it goes deeper than that, the United States is not centralized in one city like it happens to France/Paris, UK/London, Germany/Berlin and so on. As to why New York City is considered the capital of the world, it has been called that for the past 60 years. It is the home of the United Nations, Wall Street, New York Stock Exchange, lots of billionaires, people from all over the world live in the city. It’s basically the financial powerhouse of the world although London has been following closely for the past few years. Other reasons to consider New York the capital of world would be fashion, music, entertainment, tourism, etc.

Nice Cowboy’n knuck if you buck men’s marlboro shirt Since my husband Wayne died of Parkinson’s Disease the morning of January 08, 2018, the artificial tree has stayed up. After Wayne’s death, I just did not have the Nice Cowboy’n knuck if you buck men’s marlboro shirt to take it apart and store the tree in the basement. It just stayed up in the living room. It’s quite heavy and awkward — I’m actually physically incapable of doing this by myself. During the year 2019, I redecorated the tree as a Valentine’s Day tree, St. Patrick’s Day tree, Easter egg tree, May Day tree, Canada Day tree, Thanksgiving Day/fall harvest tree and Christmas/holiday tree. The artificial wreaths will be stored in the basement this week. The fresh pine boughs in containers will be put out when they begin to drop their needles. I’ll be doing the same with the tree in 2020 as I did last year.

Funny DJ Khaled Let’s Golf Shirt Christmas trees are sold all over before christmas. There are several types of Funny DJ Khaled Let’s Golf Shirt : There are cultivated trees that have been cut and shaped to be dense and ideal in shape. And there are naturally grown trees right from the nearby forest. They are not as “pretty”, because they are just how they happened to grow. I value the natural trees, because they give me a better feeling about the connection with my natural surrounding. I give the highest value to a tree I have cut myself, but this isn’t always possible, so I usually buy a natural domestic tree.

Paint Goat Biles Shirt You know what almost all Christmas ornaments are made in China. However, I will say there are different qualities within that. Not saying the Paint Goat Biles Shirt ones won’t be decent however you will get what you paid for- they won’t last forever that’s for sure. I bought a bunch of decorations last year from a store in Australia along the same line as Walmart. I bought them for a DIY pool noodle wreath I decided to give a go (not crafty at all btw lol) anyway they were pretty ordinary some of them I had to throw away, very cheaply made but I got what I paid for. Every year we go to Pottery Barn to buy a couple of new special ornaments, it’s become a tradition. They are gorgeous and the quality is very good, still made in China. Bottom line is if you want something that’s going to last forever and look the same each year, pay a higher price point at either higher end department stores, one off boutique stores etc. My ornaments from places like Costco and Cracker Barrel etc still look good too. If how long they last doesn’t matter so much then go for the cheaper stuff. Thanks for the A2A.

When was the last time you had a Poptart? About a month ago. It was a chocolate fudge one, I believe.
Do you like hot chocolate? I hate the instant stuff, but I do like proper Italian hot chocolate that's so thick you can stand your spoon up in it - it's basically melted chocolate with cream/milk added. I had an incredible one in Italy once and insisted we went back to the same cafe everyday of our visit haha.
Where do you buy gasoline? The petrol station at the end of the road.
Who made you laugh the hardest today? I haven't really spoken to anyone except Mike but I wouldn't say he's made me laugh. It was maybe the cats lol.
Who was the last person to promise you something, and what was it? Mike promised he'd ring his dad once he went upstairs, and he did.
Would you ever jump into a fire to save your bestfriend? Nobody knows how they'd act in that situation - you generally go into fight/flight mode and react on instinct, which is why I don't think it's fair to judge people based on how they act in an emergency.
Do you have a callus from writing too much? Not now, but I did when I was in school/university.
What was the last thing you failed at? I don't know.
Who is someone you’ve made a bad first impression on? Nobody in particular comes to mind right now.
What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done? I don't think I've ever done anything too horrendous, honestly. Overall I like to think I'm a pretty decent person.
Can you use chopsticks correctly? Yes, but I'm slow.
What was the last movie you watched on TV? Moulin Rouge but it was just on as background noise.
Who is your best guy friend? Mike.
Do you think walruses are cute? No.
What is the correct plural form of platypus? Platypuses.
When was the last time you used a glue stick? About twenty years ago.
What is your favorite form of transportation? Car. It's just the most convenient around here. Public transport is expensive and takes at least twice as long.
Who was the last person to sign off without messaging back to you? Suzanne but it's not exactly urgent. Do you read cereal boxes while you’re eating? Ha, I did back in the day before mobile phones. Or I read at the table.
What’s the last thing you accidentally (or purposely) burnt? Toast. A bit of the crust got caught in the toaster.
Do you know anyone named Trey? No. I don't think I've heard of anyone in the UK with that name.
What was the name of your last or current math teacher? Richard Hobley.
Did you know that there is a Twilight-sponsored Blood Drive named, “Carlisle Would Approve”? Donate blood for Edward? :) Ew.
Do you know anyone with a lip piercing? Not anymore, no. Everyone I know who had facial piercings had them removed.
What did the last tattoo you saw, look like? No idea, Mike is just covered in them.
Do you own any hair ribbons? No.
When was the last time you curled your hair with a curling iron? Never, my hair is naturally curly.
Do your fingertips hurt when you type for a long time? No.
Do you know anyone with a green bookbag? Mike has a green bag. Do you like colorful skinny jeans? I have some purple ones which I like, but generally no.
What was the last reason you were disappointed at someone? I got a cancellation on Tuesday but I'm sure she only cancelled as I messaged her to check something, which is a bit annoying.
Do you like “Juicy Couture”? No.
Where did you buy your favorite pair of jeans from? George.
When was the last time you wore a white shirt? No idea, I pretty much never wear white.
Have you ever given birth? No.
Doesn’t it just sound painful? It sounds horrendous. So does pregnancy. I have no idea why anyone would put themselves through either, lol.
Did you know that the equivalence of a woman giving birth, is a man peeing out a golf ball? 0_o Yep. Which begs the question - WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT.
Do you enjoy making out? Not really.
What color are your nails painted? They aren’t.
What’s your favorite food to put ketchup on? I don't put ketchup ON anything except burgers. I prefer it on the side so I can dip and my hands don't get covered in sauce.

Women's Golf Apparel: Elevate Your Game in Style
Introduction
In the world of golf, performance and style go hand in hand. Women's golf apparel has evolved over the years, and today, it offers a perfect blend of comfort, functionality, and fashion. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just starting out, the right golf attire can significantly impact your game. In this comprehensive guide, we'll explore the world of women's golf apparel, from the essential pieces to the latest trends. Get ready to tee off in style and confidence!
The Foundation: Golf Shirts
Golf shirts are the cornerstone of any golfer's wardrobe. They not only keep you comfortable but also provide freedom of movement during your swing. Opt for moisture-wicking fabrics to keep sweat at bay and maintain focus on your game. Polo shirts are a classic choice, while sleeveless tops offer a chic and breezy alternative for warmer days on the course.
Swing Freely: Golf Skirts and Shorts
Golf skirts and shorts are designed to allow you to swing freely while adhering to golf course dress codes. Look for pieces with stretchy materials that move with your body. These bottoms are not only functional but also come in various stylish designs, allowing you to express your unique fashion sense on the course.

Coverage and Comfort: Golf Pants
For those who prefer more coverage on the course, golf pants are a great option. They provide protection from the elements while maintaining breathability and flexibility. Modern golf pants are tailored to fit well without sacrificing comfort, ensuring you look and feel your best throughout your round.
Stylish Convenience: Golf Dresses
Golf dresses offer the ultimate combination of style and convenience. With a one-piece outfit, you can effortlessly move around the course. Many golf dresses feature moisture-wicking properties and UV protection, making them an excellent choice for sunny days on the green.
Weather-Ready: Golf Outerwear
In the UK, where the weather can be unpredictable, having the right outerwear is crucial for staying comfortable on the golf course. Waterproof jackets and windbreakers are essential additions to your golf wardrobe. Look for options that are not only functional but also stylish, so you can stay dry and fashionable.
Firm Footing: Golf Shoes
Your choice of golf shoes can significantly impact your performance on the course. Proper golf shoes provide the necessary traction and stability during your swing. Women's golf shoe designs are available in a wide range of styles, ensuring you find a pair that suits both your game and your fashion preferences.
Shield from the Sun: Golf Hats and Visors
Shielding your face from the sun is essential during a long day on the golf course. Golf hats and visors not only provide protection but also help maintain clear vision while addressing the ball. Some designs come equipped with built-in sweat-wicking technology to keep you cool and comfortable.
Enhanced Grip: Golf Gloves
Golf gloves are an often-overlooked but vital part of a golfer's attire. They provide an enhanced grip on the club, preventing slippage and blisters. For women, there are gloves specifically designed to offer a perfect fit and maximum performance.
Completing the Look: Accessories
To complete your golfing ensemble, consider adding accessories such as belts, socks, and sunglasses. Belts not only keep your bottoms in place but also add a stylish touch to your outfit. Quality golf socks can enhance comfort, while sunglasses protect your eyes from the sun's glare.
Conclusion
In conclusion, women's golf apparel has come a long way, offering a wide range of options that cater to both style and performance. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner, choosing the right golf attire is essential to your overall experience on the course. From moisture-wicking shirts to stylish dresses and weather-ready outerwear, there's a piece of golf apparel for every golfer's needs and preferences.
So, elevate your game in style with the perfect women's golf apparel, and step onto the golf course with confidence. Remember that looking good on the course can boost your self-assurance and potentially improve your performance. Tee off with flair, and let your attire reflect your passion for the game!

I love that George had to gift something fashionable to a fashion guy when he's errr... let's say classical in his own dressing ways (I prefer him in sweats and puma cargos though, so I'm not a great judge myself I guess lol) and he clearly went for something safe and useful to not shit the bed hahaha (I'm sure Lewis pranked him like his usual when he asked for help, and you can bet he did)
Look, I like that boy a lot but he is annually DIRE at gift giving in Secret Santa and this year he did not break that streak 😭😂
He has gifted, in order, an extra wide wing mirror (as a gag gift to Alex), a mug heater with a UK plug (for Valtteri, which I can see the logic cos he likes coffee, but dude COME ON 🫣) and novelty Christmas socks (and a Christmas dinosaur decoration) to Guanyu who, let’s be honest, is never putting his feet near them 😂
That being said, he’s had pretty dire gifts in return (a novelty Xmas golf jumper, a t shirt of his own chest and a Brazil drum that I can only assume Esteban got at the airport as he was leaving São Paulo because he’d forgotten 😂)
Absolute chaos tbh and I hope he continues doing it because honestly, it’s actually fucking hilarious
