Docs still isn't letting me copypaste so I'm going to post screenshots of my OC au concepts instead... It's less convenient but oh well! This is mostly just for people who care about silly OC stuff like this! So. Here lol

#finn's ocs #it's just notes for fun i jotted down whenever i thought of something so there may be typos that's ok though #some people say modern aus are like... bad if your thing is fantasy because it takes away the fantasy but i think that's silly because like #the whole point of aus is to put characters in entirely different situations. i dont think slice of life or whatever is inherently lesser #of a genre. it's fine and it's fun. i dont think it becomes boring just because the characters dont shoot laserbeams anymore yknow #bc that's not whats fun about the characters to begin with. it's their personality! and putting them in a different setting to see #how they act and stuff is actually a fun writing exercise imo #like. setting is secondary to characters imo #good characters can carry any setting doesn't matter if it's fantasy or just slice of life!#that's what i think at least. i think it's silly to say that an imagined au without fantasy is worse because there's no fantasy #when the point is to be different!
