I also love lil nas x and found a new musician through tiktok that goes by brye that is really good

Last Movie Watched: this is so embarrasing but I watched the meg with my dad yesterday lmao. I have a weakness for stupid monster movies (we used to watch the shittiest syfy movies together when I was in hs. the shittier the better). I thought he'd like it because jason statham but he was meh about it

Last TV Show Watched: last one I was invested in was the new episode of percy jackson, but I did watch a little bit of that polish show high water on netflix the other day which seemed interesting

Last Book/Fic Finished: god I actually haven't been reading fic for a hot minute which is really surprising. probably my reread of of the northmost winds and skies by @jjackfrost. wasn't in the crossover fandom until earlier this year but actually adore that pairing. this is now my comfort longfic (+400k). it's so good, I read it and I wasn't even in the fandom at the time and it was amazing!!! all the characters are written so well, the voices and pov are great, the worldbuilding and storyling is amazing! I've gushed in the comments before but ugh I love it so so much. inject this into my mf veins

Last Book/Fic Abandoned: I don't really abandon fics, I just wait for them to get updated again. as for books, I really tried to get into loveless by alice oseman because aroace rep but I couldn't really get into it :/

Currently Reading: nothing at the moment (not going to list all the fics I'm waiting for updates for because I can't remember them all and the ones I can remember would take up like multiple pages lol)

Last Thing Researched for Art/Writing/Hyperfixation: ooo this is hard. technically speaking I've been hyperfixated on playing animal crossing so the most recent thing I looked up for that was what treasure islands were lmao

Favorite Online Fandom Memory: oooo I'm not sure actually? I really love having mutuals even if we don't talk. I also really enjoy when people engage with my posts and appreciate my tags and aus. I like sharing my thoughts and ideas with you guys and it's so heartwarming and validating when y'all enjoy it right back

Favorite Thing You Enjoy That Never Had an Active or Big "Fandom" but You Wish It Did: probably some of the kdramas I've watched. I adored the guest on netflix but there's no fandom. I really REALLY wanted some fix-it fics for the ending of my name but there weren't any because the fandom was too small :(

Tempting Project You're Trying to Rein In/Don't Have Time For: so many things that I jump between (the adhd of it all lmao). I really would like to make a leverage ot3: are they queer video essay and I have some stuff typed up BUT I work in the healthcare field and I'm really hesitant of putting myself on video because when you work in this field it can be weird if clients or employers find your channel. so that's technically on hold for privacy reasons rn. I also really want to learn how to sew and make clothes and my roommate has even offered to help (they used to do competitive cosplay) but I'm just very unmotivated. I want to get back into witchy things but don't have the mental energy to invest in that other than appreciating my stones

are you team nam do san or mr. han?? i started watching with some of my friends and let's just say we are very divided on what we think the outcome will be! and yes very invested, especially after watching the most recent eps. the music is also 👌🏽 one of the ballads just hits me in the feels every time it plays ;_; if you ever need kdrama recs let me know!! i used to watch a bunch back in the day and recently picked it up again while we were quarantined. there's definitely so many good ones out there!

and i heard so many good things about bungou stray dogs! i started watching the first few eps but honestly i don't think i was in the right mindset to fully enjoy it so it's been on my 'to-watch' list for the longest time

aghhh it’s so hard to choose rn!! i’m still really torn, but i also think i’m leaning towards nam do san :O which one are you thinking?? and the MUSIC. i love how airy it feels. it’s so sweet TvT and YES Rin i would love any recs you have to offer. i trust your judgement ✨

BSD has some very mixed reviews from what i’ve seen. it really depends on how much patience you have for the characters - personally, i’m really enjoying how offbeat the show (and humor) is. a lot of people find it to reveal things a little too slowly though, which is perfectly reasonable, i get it :,,) however, if you do get around to watching it, lemme know your thoughts!!

i do really like mr. han and that scene where he mixes his noodles for her almost made me switch teams but i'm also rooting for nam do san. i feel like mr. han was the right person, wrong time kinda thing and he missed his chance :((( but nam do san has been so sweet to her since the beginning and is just a genuinely good guy?? he came up with that idea from meeting grandma once how can you not love him??

i really enjoyed crash landing on you! that's what got me back into kdramas in the first place. overall just a very romantic and charming drama.

i'm not sure if you're into crime thrillers but flower of evil was one of the best dramas i've watched so far. it's about a man that changes his identity because of his dark past and marries a homicide detective who takes on a case related to his past. it is darker but so well written and the acting is phenomenal! the suspense is unreal and i kind of regret starting it so early because waiting for episodes to come out every week was honestly torture.

my all-time favorite has to be thank you. it's an older drama that's more about life than romance so all the characters feel very real. it's about a single mom raising her sick daughter in a small village and let me tell you, the way i ugly cried watching this drama ;_; i'm a sucker for things about family and this was beautiful, touching, and tragic all in one.

sorry this ended up being a lot more detailed than i originally intended hahaha but if you end up watching any of these you'll have to let me know what you think!! and if there's dramas you enjoyed i'd love to hear about those too! my watchlist is long enough as it is but *shrug* what's a few more :')

hhh i’m so with you on mr. han😔✨ he’s so much more smooth and i was instantly charmed by his connection with her grandma :,,,) nam do san felt a little robotic at first, but then he warmed up and AH it clicked. i completely agree on it being a timing thing - but if it were me in that scenario? i’d choose mr. han ;v;

yess crash landing on you was cute & incredibly goofy. i had absolutely no idea what to do with myself. OH OH AND YEAH, crime thrillers/mystery focused dramas are some of my favorites!! i’ve never watched a kdrama with those themes, but it sounds exactly like something i’d be into🥴

AGH SWEET FAMILY STORIES my eyes are already filling with tears, Rin don’t do this to me. i will melt. secretly, i’ve never been into anything cheesy or super sweet, but kdramas are usually over the top enough that i can laugh and genuinely immerse myself in the storyline without taking things too seriously. they’re nothing at all like hallmark movies (i just... can’t bring myself to watch them. my body can’t handle it)

OH and have you watched inheritors?? i think it’s also referred to as “the heirs,” but same thing. my friend (the one who got me into kdramas) has an infatuation with Lee Min-ho and she dragged me into it with her. it’s so cute.
