Howdy Tiff! I really loved your answer to my ask about Ford and favorite foods- i too love dark chocolate :D
You mentioned latkes and also mentioned your own culture being about making lots of food in the tags- that's so neat! Have you ever thought about sharing your culture with the boys? What cultures do you belong to, if I may ask (don't feel pressured to answer please!)? Do you HC the boys sharing any of your cultures?
I know they'd both love to learn your culture and celebrate it with you however way you enjoy to! The boys love you so much ✨🧡!!!
Clover @tex-treasures
heeheehee hewwo clover!! ty for the ask :'''') tbh im more of a milk choc and white choc fan myself (its gotta be so sweet im just straight up licking a sugar cane ok)
well you see, its canon that the twins come from a jewish family! so i can imagine that for like family gatherings or celebrations, there were always a bunch of food served. at least thats what i saw a lot growing up, so i like to imagine we bond over smth like that. i come from a serbian orthodox family myself, and we'd just have TONS of food served, either at our own parties or someone elses lol. not really a religious thing, i guess thats just what my fam does.
i'm pretty agnostic tho? like we're not really religious or anything, and i believe stan and ford are abt the same, so we dont really practise much and kinda just ~*vibe*~. in my case, the only celebrations my fam get involved in are the ones w food lmaoooo
we do share our experiences tho! with christenings, bar mitzvahs, weddings, funerals, etc. stan brings up how he wore groucho glasses to his bar mitzvah, which is p hilarious. not a lot in gravity falls to begin with, so we all just talk about the little we do know/remember about our traditions. all in all, not religious at all.
since my s/i time travelled and is now separated from her fam, she tries her best to search up any serbian orthodox churches anywhere in america. while she doesnt really practise, she likes to find and keep a serbian calendar with her to keep track of christmas, new years and easter, since they land on diff dates to the anglo-saxon ones. its not much, but she does what she can to keep her fam close in some way.
