lorelei & hunter -- BTHB nightmare

Tiny nightmare drabble for BTHB. 

cw: slavery, master/pet, creepy whumper, intimate whumper, nightmare

Lorelei checked the clock—3:30 am. He sighed and shifted, intent on falling back asleep. 

Hunter grunted and made a small sound, shifting under the blanket. 

“Hunter. Shh,” Lorelei muttered. 

All was quiet except for the steady rush of air from the heat vent. Lorelei closed his eyes.  Then Hunter shifted again, this time making a small moan, uttering a nonsense word. Hunter was chasing away Lorelei’s opportunity to easily dip back into sleep.

Lorelei twisted to face his pet. Hunter’s eyebrows were ever so slightly furrowed, edge of mouth turned down, in a cute pout. Another nightmare. 

“Wake up...” Lorelei pushed Hunter with his foot, and when Hunter’ eyes remained closed, Lorelei shoved him harder, “wake up.”

Hunter’ eyes snapped open and he gasped like he was being pulled out of water. He gripped the sheets rigidly like the mattress was about to capsize. 

“You were making noise. You woke me up,” Lorelei said. 

Hunter blinked with those long lashes, exhaled shakily. “…Sorry.”

Lorelei rolled to his side, closed his eyes. “Get out.”

“Yes sir,” Hunter whispered and slipped out of bed. If Hunter had tripped and crashed into the ground with a thud, or bumped bruiseingly into the doorway and yelped, then Lorelei would’ve been awake.  Really awake. Then he would’ve had nothing better to do than whip that beautiful pet until he felt tired again. 

But Hunter made it to the door with just the sound of the creaking floor and Lorelei went back to sleep.
