I was tagged by the great HADIKAPUUU @hadikathefangirl 🙌 to post three happy memories from 2019, three lessons I've learned in 2019 and what I hope for in 2020.

Three Happy Memories from 2019

Watching the CWC19 final, the Wimbledon final (oh Roger 😢 i love you) & the Ashes Headingley test live (on telly). These are those “telling your grandchildren ‘I SAW THAT’” memories . I won’t ever forget those moments (and thank god my plan of watching every ball of the Ashes really paid off 😆).

Finishing my Grade 1-7 unblemished 😆 (as Roll 1) ESPECIALLY GRADE 7. In my school, they have sets of teachers for Grades 1-3, 4-5, 6-7 & senior teachers for 8-A levels. But what happened with our batch was the set of teachers who took our classes in Grades 1-3 all got promoted as we got to the next Grade. Sorry if this is confusing but in conclusion what happened was we got some teachers teaching us for 6 years and really developed an emotional attachment. All the teachers really liked me and especially wanted me to finish off their classes as the topper and I?! did!!?! I am really really happy to know that I made them feel proud.

Finding out about Coldplay (that too just before they dropped Everyday Life AHH). I am smol now and so i was really smol when Coldplay really peaked in their Viva La Vida era. Still I don’t understand how i never quite heard them until this year (thanks to Tessa and Scott). I heard Fix You and started going through their other songs as well and slowly discovered that there is not one song of Coldplay that I did not like 😆 (and I am absolutely aware that not everyone likes everything and you should know that too. So don’t @ me. People are entitled to their own opinions.)

Quick shoutouts: meeting the Cricfam and Hadikapuu over here, learning the Guitar, ooh getting back into Hamilton (an American musical), finally getting the tickets to AVENGERS ENDGAME after 2 weeks of not being able to , hosting a cricket quiz show during the CWC19 called ‘Char Chokka Mar Pach’ (that’s in Bangla) on ‘Duranta’ (a tv channel of Bangladesh) & improving some of my friendships with some of my friends.

Three lessons i have learned in 2019

Don’t hold grudges. It will only ever affect you.

I won’t ever get something i did not work hard enough to get.

Confidence is good. Over Confidence is not.

Quick shoutout: I AM NOT THE BEST IN ANYTHING BY ANY MEANS.

What i hope for in 2020.

I hope my family is safe and sound. I hope I don’t take what I have for granted. I hope I don’t procrastinate as much as I did the last three months. I hope I don’t throw away what I have with some awful decision making. I hope everyone has a great 2020 ahead of them.And lastly, to the DUMB ASS TEAMS I DUMB ASSLY SUPPORT, i hope you do well.
