I once thought Golden terrace maybe quite the same level of political heavy as qjj. But now I'm 60 pages in, I think I can breathe easier than when I was 60 pages in the first book of qjj lol.

#haha maybe i've gotten used to remembering chinese characters' names and their faction/families #and no i'm still not deep enough into the story to know yet if there's going to such comprehensive plotting as qjj #but i like this book so far #the author explain clearly who's who #while in qjj i feel i was thrown headfirst in the ocean depth and have to learn things mostly thru context and then things started to #clear up some but not all #to this day i still don't understand clearly how lanzhou take control of so much resources in each of the city he visited
