Above is a recording of gameplay from Dracula II: Seal of the Curse, AKA the Famicom Disk System version of Simon's quest. Bloody tears is playing in the recording. Credit to haikarahakuchi on youtube for the video.

Bloody tears has been slightly mutated or misused (not necessarily bad or good). Sometimes it's used for an epic fight or something grand but it was originally cautious but hopeful music that played during the day in Simon's quest.

Though, of course, it is altered to better fit different purposes.
