Been trying to watch Adventure Time finally since I loved Fionna and Cake so much and man. I can really tell why I didn't get into it back in high school lol
#the humor is very. hm. I don't know how to describe it#I do think I remember people saying the first season was kind of rough#but it is for most shows so I'm def gonna stick it out#but it did feel like back in high school there were only two good western animated shows#this and mlp#and I was FIRMLY on the mlp train at the time#I feel like that had a huge impact on me in ways I still haven't figured out lol#how different would my art look if I'd gotten into adventure time instead#half the reason I was more into mlp was nostalgia cause I loved old school mlp media#and the other half was that adventure time looked very 'little boy show' to me#I don't know how fair that is but I guess I will after this watch through!#bored badgering
