BADAM HALWA INGREDIENTS • ½ cup almonds / badam • hot water to soak • ¼ cup water • ¼ cup wheat flour / atta • 1½ tbsp ghee / clarified butter • ½ cup sugar ( if you have a sweet tooth then add ½ cup more) • ¼ tsp cardamom powder / elachi powder • few dry fruits, chopped INSTRUCTIONS 1. Firstly soak ½ cup almonds in enough hot water for 30 minutes or soak it overnight. 2. Further, peel the skin of badam and transfer to the blender. 3. Blend to coarse paste. 4. Transfer the badam paste into the large kadai. 5. Add in a tbsp of ghee. 6. Saute for a minute on low to medium flame. 7. Add ¼ cup wheat flour in the badam paste. 8. Cook the badam and atta mixture till it start leaving ghee on the side of the kadhai. 9. Keep it in mind to stir it occasionally. 10. Furthermore, add in ½ cup of sugar and sauté continuously. 11. Stir continuously till the sugar dissolves completely. 12. Keeping the flame on low-medium, stir till the mixture thickens. 13. Now add half tbsp of ghee and stir. 14. Stir till the mixture separates the pan and ghee oozes out from sides. 15. Furthermore, add in ¼ tsp cardamom powder and mix well. 16.
