i'm still stuck on the idea of giving Haruka a proper wedding, of giving him a day full of nothing but love directed at him, so here are some more thoughts about it.

i do think that weddings with the Bofurin boys are generally almost like. a town affair. i think that by the time they're finding partners, they've all found careers/occupations in various fields, not to mention at that point the town loves them all, so expenses are kept minimal because everyone's trying to offer something beyond their presence, you know?

and i feel like Haruka's wedding in particular would be some big to-do. (same with Ume, tbh). you want a venue on this particular day? done. you have an offer or two for your clothes to be tailor made if you'd like. your food is all handled (and you even have multiple restaurants pitching in so there's good variety offered). even if Ume specializes in fruits and vegetables, i feel like he'd want to especially help with the floral arrangements and everything. i feel like he'd train under a florist and make it perfect.

But when he is ready to talk marriage with me, he opens by asking to see my Hanakotoba notes so he can make an appropriate choice. It’s our thing, exchanging flowers (or, at the very least, being v conscientious about their meanings), so I don’t think anything of it. We go out shopping and he pulls me toward our favorite plant shop and instead of a flower, he picks out potted ivy.

We both make sure to nurture it, wanting it to outlive us both.

Unfortunately I have nothing concrete as far as lore. I'm very flirty with him until he gets used to it, but he thinks that I'm just joking/don't mean it when I call him attractive or express interest. It takes a minute before I realize he thinks that and correct it. Then comes slowly making him accustomed to physical affection and telling him "I wish I had known you sooner so I could have loved you longer."

I was joking with a friend that our ship name would be something like hanakotoba since we both have flower names (ix being short for ixora) but then that turned into a fic ahahaha so I tag self-ship stuff under .vi (S for sakura + IX). Dunno if I'd call it a name per se, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

ix i was thinking about u and haruka today and wanted to ask -- how's he with pda? was he really awk about it in the beginning? did he warm up to it later on? is he still superrrr blushy if/when you kiss in public? heheh

ahahaha He is SO awkward about it for SO LONG. I respect it at first and tried to keep PDA to a minimum/affection at home but he wanted to subtly show affection so it started with hand-holding (still red). He'd get bolder if he saw others checking either of us but would generally keep it to fleeting touches/standing close together. He gets used to me giving him cheek or hand kisses but still turns pink with them. Occasionally he'll reciprocate and it ALWAYS results in him turning into a tomato ehehehe

Hello, hello!~ I've been meaning to say hello, too, so this works out! 💜 And thank you! I'm glad you think so!!

HaruIx is still so new that it still gives me crazy butterflies to think about 🙈🙊 When neither of us have plans, it's a pretty even toss up between a day trip somewhere (even if that trip is just to the beach like, an hour away) or staying at home and just hanging out. If we're staying home, then there's a chance that we'll end up having people over, which means playing games or watching a movie or just catching up. When it comes to dinner, however, that's usually just the two of us, whether we're going out to eat or making something together at home 💜

for your selfship, how did you and haruka meet?

ahahaha, no, I have 7 chapters written already (I'd like to have the story finished before the posting schedule), but only three of those seven are posted right now. Although, I do find myself adding more little one-shots to that world so there is the possibility of writing enough that seven chapters becomes closer to a third of the total thing than two thirds of it.

I feel like the slowburn works really well for Knight Iwa (from what little I've read so far~)! I am buckling in, dw dw ahahaha Iwaizumi can have me in whatever grip he wants

Nii Satoru said "I want to make Sakura into a character you fall in love with" and everyone took that as law.

Suo's fun in his elusiveness, for sure!~ And Kiryuu!!!! I think outside of Sakura, he's my favorite from Class 1-1. Especially after his arc? Looooove him!

As for Haruka and I, we meet when some assholes give me shit after I'm trying to close up my bookshop. Nothing really special except I feel the familiar tingle of koi no yokan.
