Happy anniversary once again to Project DIVA! It is a series I hold very dear to my heart, so I'm glad that this tournament could do it some justice. I started with playing Project Mirai DX when I started high school and gained access to many Project DIVA songs of the past and future through Project DIVA Future Tone. But, there's one more title I owned...

That would be Project DIVA X! Not everyone liked it, I know, but it has some nostalgic value to me for being the first mainline Project DIVA title I owned. I even still use the pencil bag that came with my copy! Tomorrow at 6 PM CT, we're going to continue celebrating the series' anniversary by starting a small-scale tournament with Project DIVA X's songs!

To differentiate between a mini-tournament and a small-scale tournament, a small-scale tournament has 2 rounds before the quarterfinal whereas a mini-tournament only has 1 and a normal tournament has 3. With 32 songs in the game, I figured this is a good opportunity to introduce the small-scale tournament. Well, regardless of the polls you see, please remember to vote, reblog, spread harmless propaganda, and have fun!

Hatsune Miku DAIBA de DIVA Future Tone DX Announced! 

To get ready for the release of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone DX this November, SEGA is collaborating with the indoor theme park Tokyo Joypolis on October 12th~November 26th for the special event “Hatsune Miku DAIBA de DIVA Future Tone DX”! The event will have a mini live show every day along with: attractions, special photo spot, collab goods, special menus, and (of course) Mikudayo. 

Mini Live Daily 

A series of special mini-live will be held daily at the main stage of the hall! There will be two setlists with three songs performed at specific intervals, including many songs from the game as well as the song “Ghost Rule” by DECO＊27 to follow as DLC in December.

October 12th~November 3rd

14:00 JST – “World is Mine” (ryo), “Romeo and Cinderella” (doriko), “Tell Your World” (kz)

17:00 JST – “Remote Control” (JesusP), “Ghost Rule” (DECO＊27), and “Senbonzakura” (KurousaP)

19:00 JST –  “Hajimete no Oto” (malo), “Last Night, Good Night” (kz), and “39” *(sasakure.UK x DECO＊27)

November 4th~26th

DAIBA de DIVA SUPER LIVE

To celebrate Miku’s 10th anniversary, a SUPER LIVE will be held on November 24th, and it will feature “all the songs performed from the past events held at Tokyo Joypolis!” Doors open at 19:15 (7:15pm) JST!

Gekion Live Coaster & Fortune Forest 

One of the attractions that will be there is the popular “Gekion Live Coaster” - a roller coaster that is part music game! The cars will be wrapped in Future Tone DX wrappings and have the following songs to play with:

Mikudayo, Digital Contents,  Project DIVA Future Tone DX Photo Spot 

From November 11th~26th, our overlord Mikudayo will be making stops for pictures! There will also be PD FT DX photo spots on the third floor to take pics with your favorite Miku modules! 

Original goods 

Original goods have been announced for sale at the event, and features the key visual and various in-game modules as follows: A4 clear files (2 kinds in total), acrylic stands (4 kinds in total), acrylic charm (6 kinds in total), langue de chat cookie (also known as Cat’s Tongue), canned candy, t-shirt, can badge (16 kinds in total), an exclusive poster, and special pass cases (for Tokyo Joypolis passport).

Collaboration Menus, Coasters, and Stickers 

Almost expectedly, there will be food for sale that reflect popular Miku songs! 

There will be a Senbonzakura theme floats for sale in collaboration with Dippin Dots Ice Cream on the first floor as well as collaboration stickers (6 kinds in total). The “Frame Cafe” on the third floor will also be serving collaboration food and coasters (11 kinds in total).

Does anyone start to almost cry when they play/watch the PV for the Mirai version of Servant of Evil? Also what do you guys think Sega’s been up to since they’ve been pretty silent the past few months? (beside Project Diva Future Tone DX announcement) Also, is Ghost Rule going to be a singular DLC for us digital users or will it be with 2 other songs? Who knows…
