Gemi bit down on her bottom lip as she opened the notification that appeared on the screen of her phone. Reading the message, she rolled her eyes as she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth. Leaning against the counter of her kitchen, she began to type her response.

(10:10PM) Nothing, of course. You know that.

You’ll just miss out on fun. 

(10:11PM) More specifically out on me

It’s funny, though, because normally I’m the one too busy for everyone else. But boy, oh boy, do you take the cake, Mr. Lee Soohyuk. 

She rolled her eyes at the words on the screen. Things between the two of them had always been like this. When one was ready, the other was not. They were in a perpetual game of tag, it seemed, but she still had hope that one day the game would cease.

Fingers flew across the keys to a back lit board as words slowly formed along the lit screen of his mobile device. A quick set of instructions followed by curious sequences of numbers following perhaps a little too quickly for a male who hardly used electronics in his day to day life in comparison to the employees who worked under him. A little icon of a closed letter popping up on his screen for a brief moment of confirmation before fading just as large hands drowned the phone back into the depth of his jacket pocket, and just in time for them to pull up to their location.

Minhyuk wasn't the type to spend time on fine dining unless it was for a special occasion, but he enjoyed the company of others and looked at the situation as a means to an end as those vivid olive toned orbs shifted to look at you with a soft smile playing on pale red lips against the pink backdrop of flawless skin and flattened fiery hair. Strands which shifted as his body did only to tickle his skin with their soft ends. "I hope you've planned a night of drinking for us. I believe I sorely missed and am in need of your taste in the alcohol variety." he'd offer, his hand reaching to grasp the horizontal and expensive paneling of that door handle. Enjoying the rush of cool air as a breeze pushed passed his figure coming out of the vehicle. Closing the door behind him and waiting for Soohyuk to join.

An arm extended to find the middle of your back the moment you joined him at his side. "So I hear you've had an eventful week. A little birdy told me that you've been hoofing it around to a few shoots instead of being in the office like normal. Tired of the cage or potential new bed mate?" The expensive material of his suit worked itself straight quickly with every shift in his stance and every step taken closer to the restaurant for tonights get together. His free arm pulling that suit jacket together to button it in a quick fashion thanks to practice and muscle memory.

"What do you say we hit up a club after this. Or maybe one of those small cute coffee shops. Get a little brief escape for however long we can until the start of another day and the work that follows... Ah... which reminds me." he'd shift. Press his weight to the ball of his right foot to grab that overly fancy door handle. Pulling it open to provide his companion a clear entry. "I have a few samples from the newest shipment back at the office... I think your secretary sent me a request on a few items you might use for next months batch of shoots... We need to schedule a visit."

♛ soohyuk’s comment was said in response to the tiara cece had picked up, but just as quickly had set down. dark eyes continued scanned over the various accessories that had been laid out for the shoot that she was currently doing for elle magazine. it had been quite some time, months actually, since she’d been back to korea and this was one of her first orders of business. and while it had been years (okay, two and a half if we’re being accurate) since she’d graced the cover of elle korea, cece was genuinely looking forward to it. the comment from the magazine’s creative force himself, however, had caused a faint smile to play on the woman’s lips. princess had never been a title used to describe her and...she was sure at this point she was well past the chance of being able to even try.

“i guess it’s a good thing i’m the queen then, right, soo?”

the words were said with a teasing tone of familiarity as she abandoned her inspection of the accessories table.
