something about like uh. orion’s self perception as Orion the Warrior vs Orion of Supertown, and i figure its part of why LR implies orion spends so much time away - why LR never sees orions “real” face until vol 1, until after LR follows him to battle - Orion welcomes Lightray, but understands that the more time LR spends on earth the more he’ll be exposed to the horrors that have shaped orion, and that LR will see him at his most brutal. and lightrays desire to understand and support orion even at his own expense VS orion accepting his help but still realizing the toll itll take on LR, and the way he hides when LR does see him after the kalibak fight- incoherent idk ill retype this in a few weeks
