One of my favorite things about the official TF2 Steam avatars is how the Engineer is the only one looking directly at the camera, and he's just having a good time

I'm always entertained by the image of a real cat used as the icon for the Cat's Ring in Demon's Souls.

The girls are fighting (me wanting to share stuff from a secret project because I feel really proud of a new addition vs me wanting to make sure I don't reveal too much too soon).

Today in "if I was a writer I would make a video essay about this" and nostalgic hyperfixations: I think there's something about Little Big Planet that hits different in how it approached user generated content. Even on top of just having still some of the most robust editing tools offered in a console game, I think there's a lot the game does that really encouraged players to make levels or even just screw around. I'd even debate that the game's overall aesthetic, where a lot of pieces resemble toys and everyday objects, provides even more of a sense to invite players to get creative. There's way more I owe to LBP as an inspiration than I remembered and probably why I started caring about doing creative work in the first place.

This is the first peak I'm giving all of you on the secret project I've been working on since May.

I just think it's funny when dogs want to bark but don't commit to a full bark, so they only do half-barks or sorta growling as if they're about to bark but don't really do it.

I've not really played Rain World but I always appreciate the slugcat fan characters.

So far I think at least two different people have seen pictures of Claire (my OC) and think she was a character from SLARPG. I know it's very likely from a shared name with one of the main characters, but does she also really aesthetically fit in?

Sometimes people have fursonas I really enjoy seeing and would love to draw, but we're not mutuals and so I feel a bit nervous about approaching and I'm like waiting for an excuse to draw them.

I've been having more dreams recently where I'm talking with friends I haven't spoken to in a while about all the crazy things that happened since last year.

I'm disappointed that I haven't really been feeling well enough to contribute as frequently as I want to in ArtFight this year.

Capcom is gonna have to rename it to Mega Man Twitter now.

I remember how some years ago I didn't do ArtFight because of some weird anxieties surrounding my own art and was more hesitant to approach other artists. Now I love drawing things for artists who I think are cool and have cool characters and networking with them. I have been much better than I was then in how I view art and the value of artwork, and furthermore, how I see myself and my interactions with others.

Is there a term for when a feature in a piece of tech or software becomes more convenient but to the degree where it becomes a disadvantage when it can be done by accident?

I think this happened back when YouTube first introduced a feature to cast to smart TVs, but it was incredibly easy to misclick on the cast button, next to the search button. I would end up interrupting something my parents would be watching on the TV, something I have never signed any of my own accounts into. I would think that a feature like this would need, like, a process to link up both devices for this beforehand.
