still wondering how i’m gonna navigate metaricky in the warriors au considering ricky’s a med cat and mk is a warrior… i was initially considering just pretending that one med cat warrior code didn’t exist in this au but now that i think about it the whole secret relationship fits far more in line with what actually happens in starstruck regarding their relationship… but like… the warrior code…….

Beebreeze and Softfur These are the elders of RiverClan in Fallen Stars Book 1 Frozen Sound. Beebreeze (they/them) and Softfur (she/they) are Hazelwind's parents. Hazelwind is their only kit and they had him much later in life. They both had feelings for each other for a long time, but were too shy to act on it until much later. Now they are the only RiverClan elders.

Snowhare and Violetbelly of WindClan
Snowhare is a small, young white cat with brown ears and a docked tail. They are the youngest deputy around the lake, and very uneasy in their new position, but determined to live up to the legacy set before them. They’re very high spirited, ready to face any challenge and rarely backs away from obstacles. They have a poor tendency to ignore help until it’s desperately needed.
Violetbelly is a fluffy black and white she-cat with a speckled belly. She is WindClan’s medicine cat apprentice, and a very caring soul. She has the patience to match even StarClan itself and an endless talent with herbs and omens. She secretly holds a lot of influence in her clan, despite her apprentice status, and had a hand in convincing Daystar that her sibling was the best choice for deputy.
Snowkit and Violetkit were born to Blackrabbit and the late queen Icegorse. Being the only two kits born to the clan at the time, the two were often smothered with the clan’s attention, Snowkit especially. With Snowkit’s poor health, half the clan was in and out of the nursery on the daily. Violetkit never minded the attention her sibling got, instead being worried herself that her only friend and playmate was always sick. Whenever the medicine cat, Gorsemist, would come to tend to Snowkit, Violetkit would offer the best of her help, working patiently and following instructions as if she herself were working to heal Snowkit. It was here that Violetkit’s love for caring for her clanmates began.
Snowkit eventually regained their health, but only just in time for the two kits to reach their sixth moon. For the first time, WindClan’s nursery would be empty, and Snowkit and Violetkit would join the apprentices. Only, Violetkit would no longer share a den with her sibling, instead being chosen by Gorsemist as a suitable apprentice. Snowpaw would join Ripplepaw, Ashpaw, and Skypaw in the apprentices den.
Being so much young than their denmates, Snowpaw was determined to catch up. Their mentor, Brighteye, was pleasantly surprised to see the sickly, quiet kit had quickly grown into an energetic and determined apprentice and happily moved her apprentice through their training as quickly as Daystar would allow. Snowpaw’s training grinded to a halt briefly, when Icegorse died of a mysterious illness not even Gorsemist’s experienced paws could cure. Violetpaw and Snowpaw regained their closeness in that moment, but both were determined to continue their training and make their mother proud.
Snowpaw was once again left alone in their den as Ripplepaw, Ashpaw, and Skypaw were all named warriors, but they refused to let that get them down. It was barely a moon later that Snowpaw had finished their final assessment and joined their friends in the warriors den.
Daystar had been impressed by the young warrior’s spirit and swift learning. With the encouragement of his medicine cat, and deputy of the time, Hazelwind, Daystar gave Snowhare their first apprentice, Newtpaw.
Newtpaw and Snowhare quickly were at odds due to Newtpaw’s lazy nature. The young she-cat was simply unmotivated and unwillingly to listen to a cat not much older than she. Snowhare questioned Daystar’s choice, giving them an apprentice that wasn’t even a full turn of the seasons younger than them. Snowhare refused to let down her clan, however, and began trying different methods. Snowhare quickly realized it was much easier to treat Newtpaw as a young friend than an apprentice and the two began to get along as they joked their way through fighting training and hunting trips.
It’s on one of these many hunting trips that Snowhare loses their tail. Having dashed their way straight into an old badgers set, the tunnel collapsed behind them as they crashed, crushing their tail under rocks and debris. Newtpaw dug her mentor from the set and helped them back to camp, where Gorsemist cut their mangled tail. Like many loses in their life, Snowhare had the support of their friends and sister, and wouldn’t let it set them back.
Violetbelly, having recently been given her medicine cat name, felt a sense of longing as she witnessed how her sibling succeeded. She missed the closeness that kithood had brought them and wanted nothing more than to help her sibling again. The brief moments she got while Snowhare was healing from the tunnel incident were a dream to her but short-lived as Snowhare went back to their warrior duties. When it was announced that Hazelwind would be retiring to the elders den, Violetbelly gained the idea of helping her sibling become deputy.
Violetbelly spent days crafting her plan, and on the day Daystar was set to make his decision, Violetbelly sprung. She secretly chased a snow-white hare into the camp, leading it to the entrance before slipping away to join her clanmates in shock as the young rabbit hopped into camp. Daystar conversed with Gorsemist about the sign until sundown that day, finally accepting that the young warrior Snowhare was his StarClan ordained choice for deputy.
Snowhare was shocked by the decision, and completely unready. Their first moon as a deputy was a struggle as they fumbled through patrols and hunting and training. Daystar even began questioning his choices. Snowhare is still working to be a good deputy and will be given a second apprentice as soon as Ashbristle’s kits are ready.
Violetbelly let no one, not even her sibling know of her ploy, simply congratulating her sibling and helping them through the first moon with advice.

Tarotober Day 2: The Magician
“Show me.”
Technically, this wasn’t against the rules. Leo wouldn’t break the rules of an audition, after all. It wasn’t as though he was trying to sway the panel’s decision. He wouldn’t want to gain a spot on the stage without having earned it, especially when there were so many talented musicians going for these roles.
No, this wasn’t against the rules. He just wanted to see if, maybe, he could see what the panel was thinking. Aunt Johanna had given him the incantations to use, and the incense that was burning in the bowl beside him. She had told him what to do. According to his aunt, the spell would just give insight, without providing any manipulation, where a psychic spell would give him too much room to guarantee his spot.
It didn’t seem to be working yet, though. Leo wasn’t sure if it was just the weakness of his divination work, or if he had said something wrong, or maybe done something out of order... He was running back through his steps when the bowl of water in front of him started to shift, colors changing into a new glow.
It worked!
Excited, Leo leaned closer to it, taking in a breath when the smell of something floral hit him. Not for the first time, he wished he recognized flowers by smell; it was something North could do, but North was in the village, and Leo being in Johanna’s shop was not close enough to ask him to determine it. North could have told him it was a combination of Hollyhock and Sunflower, a distinct representation of his ambition and their adoration of his skill. Leo, however, was entirely unaware.
It took another couple of minutes, minutes where Leo watched anxiously while the colors on the water shifted, before the one he hoped for came up. And it stayed. Blue, bright and approving, swirled through the clear liquid, and Leo smiled wide. If the spell were correct, if he hadn’t done something wrong and hadn’t misread the blue tone, then he had succeeded. He was going to get the offer to perform as first chair.
He had to tell North. North would be so proud of him. Just as he was of himself.
