Thinking about the 'a broken mug is fixed but a chipped one is overlooked, sometimes I wish I were more damaged so I could get help' and walt n rosa
#gamer txt.#al ocs#rosa is very noticeably mentally ill and traumatised#he doesnt trust people very easily he cant ask for help he has fuck awful social anxiety and bad mouths everyone (himself included)#he clearly self sabotages and has unhealthy coping mechanisms and ppl notice#shell started hanging out with him to get him used to new ppl milk reassures him that he's not a bad person axel medicates and talks#and faye allows him a little time to be silly#like. it gets help. its getting help. throughout the story prior to and after the conflict rosa is actively getting better#walt isnt.#they put on a smile and give advice and act friendly and spend time with friends and never gives any indication that something is wrong#its possible that ppl might be able to tell on account of how walt never stops moving always doing something#but it gets chalked up to motivation from leadership and young adult energy#so no one notices#the only person even somewhat aware that something is eating away at them is bree and thats only bc of walt smoking with plush#anytime bree tries to offer advice walt just claims to be stressed out and tries to convince themself they dont need any help#they are actively getting worse#the conflict is just a catalyst#and they both hate eachother for how they appear to be#'how come he gets antidepressants while im still miserable?'#'how come they get to be happy snd have all these people they can trust?'#its a situation
