my awful brain coming out of nowhere to throw third eye thoughts at me. i see a good meta and my brain goes "hey, you know this means in third eye au-"
#mostly that third eye au tim is really a Nightmare Scenario for him#jack and janet both die before he gets to reconnect with them or find any kind of stable living situation.#he has to deal with the ramifications of having (unintentionally) killed somebody in self defense. and the Shiva of it all#he has pushed down his desire for normalcy so deeply. compartmentalised himself into Before and After so strongly.#that he cannot emotionally handle anything that threatens the boundary he's drawn between 'tim drake the normal kid' and his current self#to the extent that third eye is really hard to write because he no longer thinks of himself as 'tim drake'#it's a whole complicated mess of shame and grief and self-aware self-disgust. tim v robin identity crisis turned up to 11#no idea if it makes sense. compels me though!#third eye au
