a lot of shit in gravity falls really is dumb and hypocritical to any nice message they wanna try and present. whenever i see it i can't help but be like "is this your king (alex hirsch)??"
#personal#dipper has a whole ep where he's insecure abt how manly he is esp comparing himself to an older teen and tries to engage w macho#guys doing dumb/harmful shit and the end message is stan praising him for leaving them and standing up for himself#then later thru the show most of the cast cant help but mockingly say guys look/sound like a girl or complain abt women#soos' bit in this ep where he cant tell the gender of a person and is like staring at them and joking abt it#hirsch will make a character be the butt of the joke the whole ep and will also make them say a microaggression too#he's always complaining abt disney being on his ass for censorship but i wish they did that with this shit#quick. explain why crazy hobo/girl having a deep voice/woman speaking spanish/a boy kissing a boy/woman with a lazy eye is funny.#anyways i'll try to be done 😔
